Jeff, You can bring your RV it will make it to the top of the hill fine. The road up the hill is a un-maintained asphalt road (my guess is that it has not been maintained in about 10 years), it has large potholes is uneven and steep. I pulled my rig loaded on the trailer up the hill in 4wd last time as did several others in the group I was there with. Some folks in our group did have trouble getting up the hill loaded and one tow rig blew up his transmission going up the hill inside the park. There were RV's at the top of the hill so I can confirm it is possible .

I'm excited, but trying to find the time to get things done on my rig is killing me.
Discovered 2 days ago that my right rear inner axle shaft is slightly bent, it will just have to work I guess..will wear the brakes out a little unless I can find the time to swap it out.No need for a Winch...You just have to make it !!

GMP sale discussions have been tossed around on forums for a while. We/CORE may have the last private ride at GMP until after it sells. After the Dixie Run, its no longer going to be open to anyone. We picked a good time to go.

I don't like hearing news like this, too many parks closing, we will make this or 1st, last and best trip possible.
I will be heading out between 5-6 am Friday Morning, I have never been at this park before so if there is any important information about anything on what road to take or not take now would be a good time for someone to give a heads up.
Don't like finding out the Hard way..
Example is Windrock
Wheeling the tow Rigs to get in.No need for a Winch...You just have to make it !!

Golden Mountain Offroad park is a awesome place to wheel, wish I have heard of years ago, was only in last few years that I had knowledge of and never had the opportunity to check out until now.
There is from mild to Wild at Golden Mountain, very well organized and never far from camp.No need for a Winch...You just have to make it !!
