My engine developed a pretty good tick at the last outing....This is what I found.

Number four cylinder exhaust rocker arm.Checked the rest while the cover was off,found no broken ones.

Engine is tick free..:thumbup:

I thought the only way to kill a tick was light it on fire :evilgrin:

What did the inside of the rocker look like and was the push rod ok ??

It was indeed...Glad it was a simple fix and even better,cheap fix.

Looked liked some of it had been missing for awhile.The broken pieces you see in the pic I believe broke recently causing the tick.The very bottom part was not found.Push tube was okay.

Yep,looks like a local run will fit my work schedule.I'm in the process of replacing the stock ignition system just waiting on the last part (Accel cap&rotor)to show up.

BigRock will be a good test.:thumbup:
