So apparently my anniversary is next Friday and I'm at a total loss for what to do? Its our 5 year which I guess is a big deal to her. I have no idea what to get. I doubt a card and flowers will cut it this time. Anyone got some ideas? Fell free to lay'em out...

I know what i would want but it involves a midget and a cantalope so probly not your thing

Get close freinds together and practice a song and then when yall are out they show up and yall suprise serenade her?

Girls love mexico i know...

Airplane rides are pretty cheapish400-600... Areobatic rides add some price though

Buy her buggy parts?

Jewlrey?

Thats all i got. It will be thirteen for me this monday.

You can't go wrong with diamonds and gold. Were at 23 years next month. All we do now is go out to dinner and go home.

I found that my wife enjoys new shotguns and fishing equipment. She don't use them so I have to so her gift continues year round when I'm not home lol..

But it did go over like a turd in a punch bowl. Might consider some new camo opening day is Saturday.

That's what I'm sayin',but I doubt that will work either, I've done the jewelry thing several times too.

You have to budget and think out of the ordinary. I have been with my lady way longer than I'd like to admit. We don't take many solo trips so for her birthday this year I sprung for a few nights at the Biltmore and a concert to her favorite band; NIN. It cost me a nice transmission for the RAM but I feel it will be one of my better decisions.
Surprise her and good luck!

I was thinking like a spa day thing away from the kids. I'm fine with dinner and a show. But you know how the women get....

Dunno what you two like but renfest is going on. I enjoy going but some people think its stupid. If you wanna get fancy you could look into renewing your vows at renfest. I know they do weddings so I would think they would do that

Any B&B always goes over well. Last time we were at one a few weeks ago there was a couple there whose in-laws always gave them a stay at a B&B for their anniversary. They felt it was the best anniversary gift ever.

I pulled it off with some flowers, a card, a beer, and dinner at changs. Then I bought her a pair of jeans
