Pretty sure most of us are going down Friday morning. I wouldn't mind leaving Thursday evening and do some night wheeling.

Can someone get some good photos and vids of the really good stuff I know they have alot of extreme hills but do they have any cool ravines or rocks or things like that?

I really wanna get down to check the place out sometime but all I see videos of are the buggies on hills.

Believe me you will like Rush... This place has good people running it, They are spending the time and money to make this THE place to wheel, They have put in a really good Rock Garden and have opened up some really good trails with lots of rocks, Core spent time on 2 different outings there making a trail named Hardcore, the trial has a little bit of everything to offer, come on down with us in August you won't regret it.

I have pics and videos of Rush, but haven't found time to post them up yet. Rush will only get better with time. There are lots of ravines that could be made in to trails. We cleared one last time we were down there.

We will most likely be camping in an area straight through the parking lot and to the right at the bottom near 3 guys. We should be easy to find regardless of where we are. Doubt there will be many people there Friday morning.

Sounds good. Looking forward to seeing some new stuff. I'll try not to put a giant hole in my tire on 3 guys this time.

Thanks Crawler, I know exactly where you'll be camping and agree you should be easy to find. I will stop at the parking lot to link up with a buddy or two and catch you at camp.

Change of plans, looks like I might make this one!

It would have to be Friday for me, too. And since I'll work til 11 Thursday, the later the better Friday morning!

Great. I know you will like it there. I'm leaving around 6pm Thursday. Mark will be going if his buggy is done by then. I'm still trying to figure out why my rig isn't running right. Replaced the O2, IAC, MAP, EGR solenoid, cap, rotor, wires, TPS is in spec, and still not right. Picked up a new distributor today. This better fix it.

Great. I know you will like it there...

Oh, I know, I was down with you guys in March...

Running like a champ now... Robert, Maybe you and Jeff can travel down Friday. He wanted someone to follow.

So it was the dizzy?

I can probably lead Jeff in without getting too lost. I won't make it by 8:30 with Flint, though. Closer to ten.

Or maybe eleven, and I'll just be unloaded and ready to go when you guys stop for lunch...

Not a problem. I'll just a cup of coffee and the Flying J and come on over. I'll unload and linkup at the parking lot or find the crew at the campground.

There's a good chance of rain Fri and Sat, so we probably won't camp down where we were last time. I almost got stuck last time. Not sure where we will end up.

They changed that with the last srrs event they added a gravel road and smoothed out the little humps. you can get an rv almost all the way to the rock garden now.

Thanks for the heads up on the camping spot... it might get a little swampy there with a hard rain. I'll be there Saturday morning rain or shine. Krawler, what time you want to meet me at the parking lot?

The words for this trip was fuel pumps, Kevin's fuel pump went out in his trail rig, my fuel pump started to act up in my tow rig which let to a very uneasy feeling coming home not knowing if it was gonna make it. Robert showed up Friday afternoon to wheel with us and shortly after broke his shift fork to his front axle so he only had 3 wheel drive. Robert also managed to pop a bead trying to climb a slick hill after I ask him if he needed a pull up the hill.... (inside joke lol) Had a steady drizzle most of the time at Rush which kept the dust down but made for some trail riding interesting. I would have to say that the trail named Hardcore is 1 of the best obstacles there that we did for the weekend, it has become pretty extreme and will get even better the more people that run it. Here is a few pics

I ran a Walbro inline pump 5 years and never had a problem. After I switched to the multiport injection I needed more pressure, so I got an Aitex pump from Advance. The pump went out before I ever wheeled it, so I took it back. Now after 2 trips out it went bad. It makes noise but will not prime. I can only assume this is going to an on going problem, so I ordered a Walbro pump for around the same price I paid for the Airtex pump. We will see how the Walbro pump holds out. I'll return the Airtex pump and keep it as a spare.

I have a Holley inline pump. It's only 20 PSI but is very faithful and I have been very happy with it.

A friend of mine went from carb to propane several years ago and has been happy with it. He also runs a pickup with no bed so has plenty of room for the tanks, typically carries 3 on the truck and another couple in the tow rig....but he's kind of overkill in that way. I think he gets into the 2nd tank on a long day or a situation where a lot of throttle is being used. This is also on a moderately built 460 (estimated 325 HP, 500 ft-lb torque) in a fullsize truck with 42's. He lost a little high rpm power going from a Quadrajet but it was worth it. I've rode in his truck during a mud bog and the engine was running 5k rpm through some pretty deep mud and it's not geared low at all.

I already have an intake and distributor, so all I need is the propane setup. I'm not sure what is up with the EFI on my rig. It started acting weird a while ago, well before I changed the cam and put the multiport on it. The cam made it worse. I want to eliminate any bs that can go wrong. I think this is the best route in the long run.

Kevin was that a e2000 or e8248 airtex pump?

It sounds like the Bosch 044 is the ticket.....but its +$$$

No, it was the E8445. The one I got to replace it was Walbro GSL392. Never had a problem out of my last Walbro.
