CORE Tour '14, Nov 15-16th

It's that time of year again! CORE's annual double-header is right around the corner, the 14th through the 16th.

We'll be meeting Saturday morning at Haspin Acres (http://www.haspinacres.com/) and wheeling til mid afternoon.

Then we'll head down to Dirty Turtle (http://dirtyturtleoffroad.com/), camp, and wheel Sunday.

Come out for any or all of it, we should be easy to spot!

Yes! Riding in the mud is alright. It's the cleanup that is a real pain especially in colder weather.

We don't ever do anything on a schedule, but assuming we still camp at DTOR, it'll be at least nine and probably closer to ten before we're up n rolling...

DTOR is offering a package deal this weekend, four weekend passes plus a cabin rental, for just $125. That's compared to 4x$35, plus $60, so $200.

Anybody interested should contact DTOR for a reservation.

I've decided I'm getting one myself. Anybody that's still tent or trailer camping, I'll sell you one of the passes for $20, vs the $35 they'd cost individually.

You get in cheap, I get to sleep with a heater. :D

Three or four. She said she'd stay a bit late to sign us in. I've avoided promising a time, cause I'm really not sure.

Haspin curse strikes again. I broke the front transfercase output yoke about 1/2 hr into the ride. Still had fun riding around in Marks beast.

Had a great time. I will definitely go to Dtor again. Damage report 1 tie rod and a few dents. The tie rod is behind the axle so I'm not sure how that happened

DTOR is my favorite Local place. Haspin is Tighter than a recalled, but this was the first time up there in the full size and it was a workout.

Pulled this guy out from a wedge between 2 trees about a hour before we left Saturday, this guy was very happy ( and major drunk) that he rolled this truck over a week after he purchased it. He said he was just glad to spend a day wheeling with his son. These 2 guys were a mess...

Yeah, the Burban tranny let go about ten miles from Haspin, sixty miles from home.
