A few of us went to Wildcat yesterday. I think it's around 1700 acres, but there is a way to cross the railroad tracks and travel to the trails on what I was told was Daniel Boone National Forrest. Not sure if you're allowed to be there so...
We didn't get a chance to go to that side. There is a lot of cool scenic stuff, including an old train tunnel you can drive through, and lots of huge rock formations, one you can drive in. I logged about 35 miles, and covered 90% of the park in 7 hours. We were hauling ass through most of it. I tried to find some hills, rocks, or anything that was enough of a challenge to get my blood pumping, but there wasn't much of that.
In my opinion, this would be great for anyone looking to cruise their sxs around and not have to worry about tearing anything up or getting hurt. Personally, I like some challenges here and there. Some, I wonder if I can make that stuff..
I heard the Daniel Boone side has more hill climbs, but I don't know for sure.

I would never bring a truck here. I think I saw 3 trucks, which were mostly stock. It was packed with sxs's and atv's.

I would say that the lack of trucks running there would greatly reduce epa issues.

909 was the best place I have ever wheeled in this area bar none. When it shut down I was devastated!

Rush will be the destination of choice for me now. Wildcat has potential but it will take some time.
