We're headed to Haspin next Sunday, the 21st. Good times, fairly mild wheeling. Nothing hardcore, just a good day on the trails.
We'll meet in the parking lot about 9:30, and try to hit the trails by ten.
Hope to see everyone out there!

Ha, I didn't think anybody here much cared...
We had a blast. Took it pretty easy in the morning, we had a couple inexperienced drivers and a couple untested rigs.
After lunch, with our confidence up, we ventured into the ravine at the far west corner, by the train tracks. That, was a mistake.
We spent four hours getting everyone back out again. By the time we were done, we'd seen three flat tires, a broken axleshaft, a destroyed front diff, a serpentine belt, a blown air compressor, one shredded tow strap and an assortment of taillights and fender flares.
But it was still a blast. The weather was about perfect, and we all hung together, and worked together, to get everybody out safe.
There's a ton of pics on facebook, I'll try n crosspost some later.

Oh, s'all good. You might have been bored/frustrated. It was a lot of Remedial Wheeling 101.
But I've decided I don't mind that so much...

Looks like there was plenty of mud to play in.

Love haspin... minus the price, but a very good place to get your feet wet and to teach some wheeling habits/tricks. Looks like fun!

Most of the park really wasn't bad, I was surprised. But yeah, we found plenty down in that valley...

Meh, $20/head. You'll spend more than that on a half tank of gas to get anywhere else. But yeah, always a good time!
