this outing will be for stock vehicles to built vehicle. Will divide into groups based upon ability of rig. $25 per rig will get you guide, shirt and sticker. Sounds like a good time. Happens on March 31, April 1 and 2. Will be camping at Callie's Campground. Luke (The Owner to Eco-OHV) is settng up a Paypal account for fee and reservation for campground.

here is a website for an event that I am going to attend. Space is limited.

Update,

Hollerwoods is a new organization that has the rights to the lands for Slade (Carb Hill, Damnation alley and plces like that). They are opening a park in the Spring of 2017. Fee will be $30 or weekend or $50 for year per vehicle. Luke has offered to let us camp and hang with them and waive the $25 he is charging for his event. SO basically Zach and I i will be going and paying for the pass to wheel but will still stay with ECO-OHV group for camping.

This is all dependant on Hollerwoods being up and running. More to come as the date gets closer. here is their website.

just for the record carb hill is forest service land. short ways up the trail from there, before the big rock is the boundary.

I had no idea the owner of callies ran an offroad service. We stayed there on labor day. Wish I had heard about this earlier. Ill try to catch one for sure

Oh wait you said "close" we have plenty of videos to show you guys at the meeting. We hit Carburetor Hill, little Widow maker, and Big widow maker. Only downfall is the camp site was a little far from where we had to go to enter the trial. We ended up driving our rigs to sandlick (our old camp site) to get to the trails. But the drive was like 6 miles away.

There's a bunch of new obstacles we didn't even get to see because of how far of a drive was to get to the obstacles. We did end up going to one of the caves. Didn't get to go to the Natural Bridge because we couldn't remember how to get to it.

I assume by the "Natural Bridge" that you are talking about Whites Branch Arch that you could drive across. This was on The Narrows trail that was closed by the USFS.

Correct. Someone told us that you can still get to that place.

You can still get pretty close with a vehicle and then you have to walk the rest of it.
The turnoff to get that way is in the creek before you get down to carb Hill.

You can get pretty close but it is not near Carb Hill. It is off of the trail the goes from Slider to the top of Little Widowmaker. Last Chance is also on this trail.

This is a drawing I had from 2005 which I used to get to the arch back then while it was still open. I have been to the arch once since it closed. We turned before carb hill from where we camped on sand lick and got to it that way. It wasn't"near" carb by any means but we turned at that trail.and them made another turn to cross it

We used to come in the Nature Trail (not extreme but a fun trail) off Rt. 11, drive over the arch, then hit the Slider area and down to rest of the obstacles. Really hated it when they closed those trails down.
