Thinking about paying someone to help me with my truck
if anyone has time and would like to make a few bucks
can't pay much though
I want help doing jobs not jobs done becouse I want to learn as I go
well if anyone may be enterested let me know

I just got done trying to replace the u-joing on the front left axil with no luck :(

Your best bet is to take the shaft with the new ujoint into a shop and ask them to put it on for you. I've done that and paid $25 or so.

If you cant find a a shop to help, and if your close by, bring it to me. I'll take it to work and use a press to install it. I'll charge you $25 if you bring me the shaft and new ujoint.

can't get the shaft out I don't think the u joint will be a problem

Is it a c-clip shaft?
What else would be holding it?
Do you have the hub off yet?

Since it is the front there is not a clip. Passenger side if it has never been removed can be a PITA. There is a slip yoke that won't lt go. Your best bet is to make sure it is good and set on some jack stands and use a long spud bar and put alot of pressure on it. Eventually it will come out. It took a friend of mine and me about an hour of prying to get it out. The drivers side should come out without much issue. It is just the hub that holds it in place.

Duct tape a 1/4 stick of some explosive material and ignite. That hopefully will loosen it up and make it easier for ya and will be entertaining at the same time. Where do you live? I may be able to come over and help.
