Very sad! Person or persons responsible should be drug behind the jeep bound by rope or shipped to Afganistan or Iraq. Thankfully I was not there when the vandals were around.
Glad to see that he will recieve help from pirate to get his jeep going again.

Lisa, you wouldn't believe what it was like in the Viet Nam era. Fist fights, vandalism, insults 24/7. Families were divided, friendships ended. Then, a lot more people were involved and there was real violence in some cities. Bombings, and arson and all kinds of nasty stuff. Mostly from the anti-war crowd, but there was plenty of blame to go around. I was trying to be a free-lance photographer and went out to southern California in 1968. What a mess.
Here in Cincinnati, if you had a flag patch on your jacket, you were gonna get in a fight in about every college bar you would walk into. And, if you had long hair and a beard, it was best to stay away from the ball park or the drag strip.
Protest today is very minuscule by comparison. Still horribly offensive though when an innocent bystander like that soldier with the Jeep is involved.
