Jeep parts got a new home... Detached "4 car" (two wide, two deep) it's twice as big as the current (but it's no 30'x40' pole barn), there's even an extra little shack for lawnmower and junk in the back of the .5ac yard, (and attached two car for Momma and kiddie toys) but of course this means that we just bought a different house... :D

Momma's excited, and of course, I am too. Emily said yesterday that our house (which is 73 years old) isn't old enough to move out of... (she often hears that something that she wants to do is off limits for Braden because he's "not old enough.") They're sooo cute at 4.

And so my plans are likely "delayed" slightly for the Jeep (especially given the focus on the truck conversion currently)... Big shock. I know.

Look out Milford, here we come.

Entire garage already spoken for, and then some (Big Red sitting out and I'm pretty sure that my DD will be out in the rain too.... it lost to the kiddie toys:confused:)

Thanks, I might just take you up on that... whole crew, quick and easy... new place definitely needs some love first... paint and cleaning, I'll certainly let everyone know when to show up for the easier moving part.

If I-275 were a clock face... I'm moving from 10:00 to 3:00.

Jason wasn't kidding when he said that I would be closer for his Jeep parts... about 5 minutes away.

Thanks all.

Ok, so we haven't closed on it... just got an accepted offer, so I don't want to jinx it... but this is the 24x34 garage... this side is the 24...

This garage was built in 1994... block "foundation" can be seen on left, conc slab floor, vinyl siding, frame and sheetrock inside... Who wants to help me make this 7' tall garage door into an 8' tall garage door??

I let the air out of my tires

I have to use the front and rear winches to pull me down to barely squeeze in with 1/2 of an inch to spare. The tires have left their marks on the sides of the wall also! Just buy a barn on wheels.

Does it even have a header? If it has trusses for the roof making it 8' should be easy.

swap tires every time, but that sucks the balls.

Wasn't as worried about the Jeep as other things... (Jeep will have dedicated front and rear axle adjustment) but less worried now... I just measured...

Boat is 6'10" as it sits... *should* be OK
Big Red Truck (which probably won't stay in, but is needed to get the boat/Jeep-trailer from the rear of the garage) is 6'9" as it sits... NEED to keep the conversion to 4wd close to that height, and will most likely have to loose the little rack thing on top.
I know the Jeep trailer is too tall with the ramps up, but I'm wondering about ability to put them up inside the garage...

Does it even have a header? If it has trusses for the roof making it 8' should be easy.

This was my thought as well. The current owner probably wouldn't have approved pulling drywall to find out about the header though... and I didn't have a ladder with me to get to the access door to see the trusses... So I'll let you know after the inspection later this week.
