ok guys here is the deal found a 76 1- 3/4 ton did not get a total look over yet but know this, has a Dana 60 front 12 inch springs front and rear no blocks 460 fresh build and 44 inch G hawgs thats got good tread but does have some dry rot- cab and bed is in great shape has had body work and ready for paint, divorced T case not sure what it is yet like i said not a climb around it look

you guys get the gist please just for sanity in my house just toss out a low buck parts out est. i told her the axle alone is worth going and getting it but she wants her new lift and rims first. i tried to explain deals like this is how you get the lift and wheels for a weekends worth of work stripping it ohhhhhhh and i can pick it up for 500 bucks runs and drives

well i went to 4wheel parts and showed her what one tire on it costs and she said go get it. so tomorrow after work should have a 76 ford parts for sale or a whole truck deal before the lima jambo......

GPER

GPER shut your mouth that would go under mine not hers

Helloooo!!! This is the Wifey here, and I just have to ask a question! yes yes I know usually it's the old man on here, so I thought I would stir things up just a little...

I want to do a poll! And you have to be honest because I'm so curious. When you guys come home from work each day, or even if you don't work, how many hours average are you on here in one day? ;) I come home, check email, check to see if my sons are on, and that takes all of about five minutes! And...doesn't it say HER 94 YJ? hahaha...ok truthfully I'm just in a silly mood and want to know what you all do with your time!

Lisa.... the other OTHER white meat

I spend maybe 20 min. a day on CORE... divided between 4-5 visits.

If I was a club member and had privy to the top secret sections I'd spend hours here screwing off.

I spend 30 min 4 days out of the week. The secret core members section always sucks me in and takes up my time! Have you ever checked out the pics from the core trail runs?

I have about five boards I check every morning before work and then in the evenings. If I'm rained out there are about 12 Jeep boards and about three Polaris Ranger boards I hit.

My wife has her Mac that she is parked on, it is a perfect world. We only talk when we are hungry.:D

Anyway I did try to help you out on this.

i spend b/t an hour and 3 hours on here daily b/t all the boards i'm on and facebook. way too much time, but i have nothing else to do while working at the wife's gym, help parents and search on 4x4 sites, pretty much rounds out my night.

Well mr. "carwash" i guess once every half hour in a span of two hours is less than..ok you lol. I've never posted anything until yesterday, and this one is the third since then. Sooooo I guess that means my average on this thing is about .... ohh.... three seconds a day over the last what???? hahaha... you sound a little sensitive! Anyhoo, thanks guys, I was a little bored yesterday. When Jake is on he does call me in here and I do like to look at all your pictures. I can't wait to go trailing, I absolutely LOVE my jeep :o I've always wanted one, and it's really cool to have a guy who likes them too, lots of things get done to it and I dont' have to pay anyone to do them lol.... Nothing wrong with spending time in here, just wondered if it was just him spending hours and hours. Anyway, I'm outie! like i said I was bored and there wasn't anything on tv. Maybe I'll get to meet some of you at the jamboreeee thingydoooo! Later! ......... Lisa

I can't work and if it was not for the net I would go insain in a matter of days.
I have about 5 to 10 sites I check in on every day at least a few times.
With having Lung Cancer and all, places like CORE are almost a life line for me anymore. I can't begin to tell you how much having places like CORE to come to and get my mind off the Cancer helps me. Thanks again to all the people that make CORE the great place it is.:beers:

I was a little confused about the whole "male signing on as HER94YJ" so it's just the same as it ever was... ish.

ps - that thing is tired. or even "tared"

I agree. That truck isn't worth much, especially parted out. The closed knuckle front is very undesired. As a whole truck, id say its worth $1000 at most to use as a trail beater. The tires are garbage, ask Jesse Reid.

And I always wondered the same thin about the user name. At first though it was a girl as well.

cab and bed is in great shape has had body work and ready for paint

Were you talking about the same truck?

All KINDS of attitude, I'll give you that..

Ready for paint, mmm, not so much...

(One day I'm gonna bolt a body like that to the frame of my superduty...)

10 cans of flat black primer

Tire groover

weld the dif's

And that truck would make 1/2 the $40,000 built rigs it ran across in the wood look silly. Ugly or not. It's still the truck that built this country more then any other.
That things a Haspin rig if I've ever seen one!:D

It would be a good one to rip the body off and weld on a rail buggy frame.

...rip the body off...

...and drop it in my side yard, for "one day..."

Tom when a guy gets to be your age, you have to be a little careful about sharing that kind of stuff or you might end up playing shuffleboard with people wearing two different types of plaid and working jig saw puzzles in the "day room."

If it makes you feel any better, after seeing the pics I don't think you lost out on much. $500 was probably a fair price for it....definitely not a steal though. The only possible thing you can't tell from the pictures is that the engine may be worth the money, but honestly, after looking at rest of the truck I would be skeptical if it's anymore than a junkyard engine.
