Trying to decide if there would be enough interest in having a T shirt specific to the benefit available for purchase there. So let me know what your thoughts are...Here's some details. Would you be interested and/or why not?

Looking at a grey T shirt, design TBD but thinking CORE/TS/BnB/One Way logos on front and a list of sponsors on back. Cost would be $15 per.

What do ya'll think?

I think an event tshirt is a great idea. Make them cheap enough so that everyone will want one. People love take-aways from an event, cuz it shows participation, etc, and has a memory with it.

My favorite CORE shirts were the ones we made for the livingston clean up 9000 years ago. They were simple, but they had the date and the event on them... i wore the hell out of them, wish i had more. I liked it because it made remember the fun we had that day. (pardon my gheyness)

Just make them simple and as cheap as possible, and they will sell.

Right so is $15 too much? I am exploring options as I think we will sell alot more if it's $10 per.

How about 11.00? Even if we do not make alot of $ on em we will be getting our names out there.

Change becomes an issue if you start going on 'odd' dollar amounts, in theory. So we have to keep tons of singles on hand to make up the $20 bills we'd get. (Maybe Mudstud will weigh in on this)

I'll talk to the vendor about a $2-$3 per shirt donation..if not, I have a couple others to ask if they would be interested in it. I really think we'll do better keeping it at $10.

I think $13 that would be in the middle.

Not yet (but he's on my list), waiting to hear back from the other contact first.

T shirts are a good idea. I will buy one.

I agree with everyone else on keeping the price 15.00 or lower.

I agree with Carwash , you will sell twice as many at $10.00 then you will at $15.00 .

And i wouldn't be as concerned about making money on the shirts as i would making them a take away for the event... People will want to own the shirt every year, it's a shame they weren't done for every event.

Make sure the design incorporates 2009 in it largely somewhere... that way it's like a bragging piece, or proof that you were there....

Good work Lisa. $10.00 will work. As long as we break even on the cost, and get our name out there, we make out on the deal!!
