I going to buy steel today to make a rack to haul my snow blower on. I'm tired of shoveling.

I pre-planned for the snow this year. I even picked up a nice used plow for the jeep. But the jeeps battery is dead and the plow is buried in snow along with the subframe I never installed.

But my neighbor let me borrow is tractor so at least I can pretend to find the driveway. Maybe I'll be ready by next year.

Our club has a trip planned on Saturday and I was planning on going. The trails in this area aren't very hard but with the snow might be interesting........only trouble is I don't think I can get my trailer out of the snow. Getting to it requires driving about 150' through an unplowed lot. On Monday afternoon my Chevy 2500HD with 33" BFGs and a locking diff could drive back to it without much of an issue (axles and frame were dragging a little in some places) but not sure if I could pull the trailer with 1,000 lbs. of snow on the deck back out. Turns out I should have at least tried to move it because as of this morning I could only get about 2-3 truck lengths into the lot before forward progress stopped, and backing up and trying again only netted about another 3' of forward progress. From that distance all you can see is a big snow drift where my trailer is parked. Don't have any way to plow it out, and my 40" tires/dual locker Blazer is about 15 miles away so I can't use that.

I had a 4 foot drift in the back of the property and cleared it with a quarter stick which caused it to snow again  . The RZR S was able to run through the 1inches but I would say that it would not do well in 14" +.

Harrison Krogers wheeling is great! They have hill's bigger and tuffer than the Back Bone....lol I got ask to leave by the local Police last Tuesday Mall Crawling over there after I dropped the wife off for work. He watch me for about 10 min's trying to climb one of the mounds then came over on the last try when I almost flopped it over and ask me to leave and be more carefull. He could of been a jerk but was very cool with me. It would have been very embarrassing if I'd flopped at Krogers! :D

We went wheelin' this weekend in south central Ohio. I was rather disappointed that the area only had around 6" of snow on the ground so no drift-busting, but somewhat wet snow over top frozen solid ground made traction very limited. My 15.5" wide TSL's were definitely not in their element a lot of the time. It was kinda' funny because all but one rig had either bias ply TSL's, LTB's, or Boggers and it reinforced the idea that these tires absolutely suck on ice and hard packed snow, which is what all of the gravel "maintained" roads between the trails were like.

She looks dead sexy...

I think I have an untouched garbage can with at least 16"-18" from the last week or so... probably a little inflated due to proximity to garage roof, but cool nonetheless.

Snowiest Feb since records have been kept... that was a record since 1914... and we're only half way through February... Wooohoooo!

Sign me up for another 3 feet of snow!
