This stuff is just to sexy not to show off... this is the 2" 47spline cromo conversion from Ouverson for the 2.5 ton rockwell... 5 ton strength in a 2.5 housing, if i break these i apparently have bigger problems...

Now, just try and tell me that this **** ain't dead sexy...

I have a nice comparison shot i haven't pulled off the camera yet... add it tonight or tomorrow.

This is for the rear steer axle... here is the rest of the parts to make it all work, should roll it all together within a couple weeks. Steering valve and controller etc from Sean at POS, and ram from surplus center. Doing this on the cheap... ha.

The axle had the very undesirable Rzeppa (pronounced cheppa for some reason) shafts, and wouldn't have lasted 20 minutes of trail pounding. so they go wrapped up and will be trail spares. Not sure i will even trust them to get me back to camp.

if this involves any part of the male anatomy we'd appreciate not seeing it.
of course, if it is somehow a kirby's mom joke, then have at it.

i've always wanted to see a pic of one of these next to a pop can.

Where's your weak link now...trans case?

That's probably not far from the truth... although in "stupid low" it might actually be tcase bits just from the multiplication...

The parts are sick... can't wait to see them in person...

Weak link now becomes the bull gear. At least that's what other folks running the 47's are breaking.

How's this for bling..... a long side RCV Dana 60 axle made of cryo'd 300M with a 16" ORI strut thrown in for good measure!

Yes the axles where cool and all but I noticed those clevis ends in the sixth pic that look bad ass... more on those. ;)

Also, I'm going to show my Rockwell stupidity but what are those splined 8-bolt flanged looking things... I'm going to guess that they are part of the rear spool?

Not part of the spool, it IS the spool. Bull gear bolts between them. It replaces the full carrier.
