Friday, July 16
Jeep Cruise-in
Kids Movie
Corn-Hole or Horseshoe Tournament
Camping

Saturday, July 17
Rock Crawl / Race Competition
Camping

Sunday, July 18
??? (Still working on it)
Clean-up and Go Home.

We are still planning this event. Stay tuned in here and on our website IOKRock.com for more details. We are kicking around a few ideas such as a Swap meet area, Offroad Course, Teeter totter (if we can get our hands on one), RTI Ramp, DJ, Band, etc.

A similar concept to the Muddybuddys Jeep Jam and the Jeep Jamboree. I went up to the Jeep Jam this past weekend and it was a great time. Great turn out and awesome weather.

I will post times and costs when we figure them out.

If you know someone with a teeter totter please email me at FmLewis357@gmail.com or IOKRock@fuse.net

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you guys.

Yes. We have just finalized some details of this event.

Friday: Gate opens @ 4PM
Offroad Vehicle Cruise-in all weekend (If you got a jeep, toyota, land cruiser, tube buggy, truck, sami, etc bring it down.)
Kids Movie @ Dusk
Cornhole Tournament
Band
*We are kicking around the idea of doing some type of competition but we need to make sure we can purchase the necessary insurance for that kind of venue on Friday. We are thinking of either letting people run our rocks not necessarily a competition but just a fun safe time, flat drags old school style dropin a can, or running our offroad course at night that we have planned for Saturday. Stay tuned here.

First 100 offroad vehicles in the gate will get a commemorative plaque for the event.

We are looking to make this an annual event. Any ideas you guys have to help grow this event will be considered.

As for now we are not planning to have any type of event involving vehicles and offroad on Friday. Until we get a good idea of what kind of crowd we will have on Friday that is the plan. So if you want offroad events on Friday post here and let us know. If we get enough interest we will purchase the insurance and acquire EMT staff.

We would love to do some night-time offroading, old school flat or hill drag comp, play on the rocks, etc.

BTW: The first 100 offroad vehicles will recieve a commemorative plaque.

Friday:
DJ, Kids movie, Cornhole Tournament, Cruise-in, Camping, Swap Meet, etc

Saturday:
Swap Meet, Offroad Challenge, Rock Crawl, RTI Ramp, Block Climb, Car Crush, R/C Rock Crawl Comp, Cruise-in/Tailgate, DJ, Camping

Sunday:
Nothing planned. Gates close @ 2:00.

This is our first time for this event. If we get a good turn out then next years will be all weekend Friday thru Sunday. Spread the word and let us know your interest.

What are the details on the R/C Rock crawling comp???

I think if you can get by w/ doing the flat drags old school style, let ppl play on the rocks etc on friday night w/o buying the insurance and paying for EMT's that would be the best way to go to keep cost down. I guess I should have been more specific with my previous post! But what I was really wondering was if we were going to be allowed to play on the rocks and roll around the course and maybe do some flat drags friday night?

Is the swap meet going to like the spring and fall ones? If so i'll bring some stuff. :D

Forgive me if I missed it, but is this a jeep only event?

fmlewis

R/c rock crawl is $5 registration. tech-in is at 9:30 to 10:30. comp starts at 11:00.

the swap meet will be just like the fall and spring. if you got something to sell bring it down. we hope it is as big as the fall and spring.

this event will be open to all 4x4 vehicles. jeeps, chevys, fords, toyotas, land rovers, tube framed vehicles, etc are all welcome.

as for friday if we do any type of offroad activity we need to buy insurance and emt staff. to contain cost at this time we are not planning on any activities friday night offroad. we are watching the local forums if we get a fel that a good crowd will show then we will buy it. to gaurantee it if one of you guys want pay for it we are ok with that. just kidding but seriously if you want to we can make it work. email me @ fmlewis357@gmail.com

I was asked to help out with the R/C Crawling part of the event. I met with the two other guys at the location today an we figured everything out so for those that may be interested, the details are: Saturday, registration and tech 9:30 - 10:30, Open Crawl from 11:00 - 1:00. We will run as many courses as we can get in the time alotted. We will be having only two classes, Scale and 2.2 Comp. We are going to keep things simple. Depending on the number of entries, we will be running a minimum of one 2.2 and one scaler course at the same time, hoping for atleast three course for each class. It will be a free crawl format meaning there will be no order for for people to crawl but we asked that everyone be ready to run so that we can get in several courses. There will be a payout for each class. The number of entries will determine the payout. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks and see you all there!:beers:

Hey yall,

Just wanted to say thanks to those who came out to the Offroad Jamboree. We had a day full of events and are already starting to plan next years event.

Just want to give a special thanks to Hilltop Performance for thier over the top sponsorship and great raffle prizes. In addition, Jake Sweeney Jeep came with a few jeeps to show off and contributions to the raffle. We raffled off a Winch, Winch plate, TJ Powersteering braket, 4WD Hardware Gift Cards, oil changes from Jake Sweeney, Kentucky Speedway tickets, KOI Detailing kits, Rugged Ridge components, etc.

We had a pretty good crowd, almost 300 people came out to the event. The rain held off just in time to finish the Rock Crawl but didn't let up for a little while so most people did not get to play in the Rock Garden / Obstacle area. We had a mud pit, frame twister, plenty of rocks, whoopty dos, etc setup to play on. But from what it sounds and looked like people enjoyed driving the hills and few trails we were able to open up during the rock crawl.

In addition, we had a car crush, RTI Ramp, and Block Climb that we planned for Saturday evening. The cars were pretty much pulverized.

Hope to see you guys at the next Offroad Jamboree.

If you have any input please let me know.
