The little jeep did good. Broke a yoke strap on the front driveshaft. Kinda expected it cause of running 4.10 in the axle and having 11.7 t-case reduction

Sunday we went to Good Evening Ranch/Offroad Park in Canvas WV. It's a great place full of wonderful people. (We're toying with a May Almostimate Adventure thing to include here.) http://www.goodeveningranch.net/

They have an exotic zoo there as well, which provided a few laughs.

Out of curiousity, are the first group of pictures from private land, or what?

Doesnt look like any of the places Ive been to in WV and Im just curious if its a place that you need to know the right people ( as in a friend of CORE, owns it or if its "public" like swiss.

It's private land. One of our members knows the owner.

That private stuff looks like a great time!
I'd be interested in that May almostimate adventure at the ranch if it happens.
I was planning on going sometime this year, but I've heard mixed reviews.
Do they have alot of hardcore stuff or is it mostly milder trails?

Beginning basic planning for the almostimate adventure over Memorial Day weekend so time will tell how it plays out honestly. If it works out, my goal is for this run will accomodate varying types of rigs. The Ranch offers a great mix of trail skill levels and I think (and I've heard others) say that most people could be entertained for a couple days. (Concern is cost for the weekend which is why planning is just beginning.) Swiss I believe offers a nice mix as well (but it's been a few years since I've been there).

The WVA run in Sept is pretty hardcore (I'll let the guys expand more if they want to on details, check the size of the rocks out in the pics is all I can say). It's private land which is why we keep it a Member Only run to ensure we know the people attending and how they act (both on and off trail). The land owner is a friend and we want to ensure we keep access to it as well as friends who host us for that weekend. Personally I look forward to this run every year, except for the lack of showers it is a perfect run (and is around my birthday which is the perfect present).
