How many of you guys are deer hunters? Would you be interested in a private hunt club where you get your own private 100 acres?

I am meeting with some hunting experts todays to discuss the possibility of a private, managed, hunt club. The off road park would take a vacation from mid-Oct through Dec., so there would be a 10 week hunting season. Stay tuned for more info to follow, soon.

What about having the park open two weekends out of the winter months for wheeling?
It seems to be a shame to shut down for the winter?

on a side note, when you gonna have an event there? dust off the excavator tires!

Yeah I am a big time hunter but it kinda seems like a shame to close the entire park in that time frame......

We are looking into what interest there might be for a Private Hunt Club. Due to slow economic times we need to look into other areas for growth. Several people have stated that it would be a shame to not allow riding that time of year, however; this past Oct. and Nov. the weather could not have more perfect, yet attendance was down. If this would generate more income, then more improvements could be made to the park. Let me know your interest, thoughts and ideas. E-mail us at sleepyhollowhuntclub@hotmail.com

a question i would have is at 100 acres per person at 2000 acres... what would the cost be?? 100 acres for one person is a big space... maybe do 25 or 50 for bow season and do a quota draw hunt for gun season, 20 zones at 100 acres per hunter 20 gun hunters.... I have experience in this field and if you need any help with ideas, zoning etc let me know would be glad to help as much as i possibly can.

i know this is off topic, but have you ever talked to the weavers (xrra)or rich cline (werock)about having a real event there? even spring hill, as small as it is, has a nice course and they were really raking in the people at their events couple years ago....
youve got the parking space, decent location, maybe time to put a real rock course in???:beers: could plan a late season big event/ numerous small comps per year ...hint hint..

I agree.. sent a email with the Survey saying almost the same thing.... i would really like to see that park built up for the nice comp/ highly capable rigs. It has potential just needs some time and people to build trails.... hard to go on a free weekend to work on a place when you don't get to wheel often... rather wheel than work when there is places to go that have trails.. I say spend the time and effort to make the park more geared towards us wheelers than hunting etc... most hunting clubs don't like the idea of only being open two or three months a year hard to pattern deer and kill large bucks which is what i hunt for.
