Scott Armstrong called our first meeting at Rib City’s new location to order. The new location has us in a slightly private room that accommodated everyone with ease. We weren’t in the middle of the place, so it seemed to go better.
Guests: None
Treasurer report: We have money
Club Biz: George handed out a list of equipment recommended to have on a rig for a trip.
Club Merchandise:
Stickers: Small CORE - $5 each
Large CORE - $10 (receive 2 of these with paid membership)
Round TriColor CORE - $10 (receive 1 of these with paid membership)
Stuckers (stuck stickers) $2 each (black or white)
Windshield banner - $15
Member Dues:
Renewing member dues are payable by this meeting, after this month it will require $50 to rejoin.
Monthly Trips: Steve’s Farm on March 19 & 20 – Member’s only run. Sat & Sun. Primitive camping overnight, probably night run as well. Will probably meet at KY rest area and follow others down.
The Memorial Day (5/28-5/30) trip to WVA in May we will not be able to run Good Evening Ranch as there is a horse event there that weekend. Decreased interest in a Memorial Day run to WVA. Probably move the official run to Harlan instead.
Zookimelt – July 7-9 at Badlands. CORE will again be providing the RTI Ramp to be set up in the campground.
Sept run to WVA, schedule for the 2nd weekend (weekend of 9/17). This is a Member Only run.
Kevin started a thread in member’s only with wheeling sites and websites within 5 hrs. This will hopefully allow club members to know of new/different places to try. Using TrailSource and offroadnorthamerica, to name a few sources. Rocky Top OHV is group reservation only and about 3 ½ hrs away. Bob to contact regarding more info. Also mentioned Royal Blue.
4x4s For A Cause: Sponsor flyer is ready – contact Lisa/tjjeepjeep if you need copies.
Monthly CORE Runs:
February – Anyone go anywhere
March – Steve’s Farm on March 19 & 20 - Member's only run
