View Full Version : Haspin Shake Down Trip May 14th

I'm getting close to finishing my axle swap.With my vacation this week,there should be no problem having it ready for saturday may 14th to take to Haspin for trail testing.Just hope it dries out some this week.I really don't want to have a muddy mess of a rig first trip out..:evilgrin:

Hope you can attend.It should be a interesting day...

You know I'm down to ride buddy! Went wheelin this weekend and it was a disaster! Took 3 hours to get the jeep put of a creek! Haspin should be good

I slid down in a creek on some wet clay and couldn't get out. And the only winch was stuck behind me. But the wife just told me the kids have a play date that I must attend. So I can't do Saturday, unless something changes. The KM2s work awesome though! They dig like crazy

Glad everything worked out.After that...I'm sure a winch purchase moved up on your list.

I wanna wheel its been a while but all my parts for my rear 4 link are gonna be here by this friday so 4 linking the rear is whats happening to me but the following weekend some ppl are ridin at dirty turtle.

carrolton ky. I have never been there but heard its pretty decent and they have some bounty hills there too so I really wanna try those more then anything. I like to beat on my toy

Good place to wheel...Small creek,some off camber stuff.And steep hills.Worth checking out.....

Wonder if haspen will have dried out by sat? Anyone been there lately ?


Edit : Nick -looks like I can make it out for a short while. I'm done at 1030 am sat morn and will rip on over for a few hours .got dinner plans at 630 so I just need to be careful of time. PS is this a weather contingent trip? 80% tomorrow

I am not going to be able to make it out tomorrow. Hope to try and get out on Sunday, but its not looking to good.

I'll give you a call.It's raining now..If the rain continues,I'm not going...I don't wanna deal with a bunch of mud ,when I'm testing the new rig..
