As we wrap up our 2011 4x4s For A Cause event in support of One Way Farm Children’s Home. I want to take a moment to thank everyone who got involved. Helping with set up of the event, volunteering at the event, attending the event, or talking about the event…THANK YOU! Without your support this would not have been a success. We met some new friends, saw some we’ve not seen for a while, and made some memories. While all these are exceptionally valuable, we were gathered to support One Way Farm…so how did we measure up?
We had 42 rigs register! We had great support of our raffle, split the pot, and grand prize/tool box tickets. The winner of the toolbox was Brian Hill. This year Team Rox Box joined us at the R/C rock course and sponsored a raffle of an Axial R/C Crawler then surprised us by donating the $600 in proceeds to our cause! With this incredible and unexpected show of support, a check to One Way Farm Children’s Home will be presented on behalf of everyone in the amount of $2,550!!!! This is an awesome achievement and possible only because all of you pitched in and helped out. Thank you, thank you, a thousand times over, thank you!!!
As we look to the future, we have already had discussions around next year’s event. We have set our date for Saturday August 11, 2012, at Barn n Bunk Farm Market. More events, more friends, more prizes, more rigs, more memories, more fun!!! Visit us at www.cincyoffroad.com to check in for details.
A very sincere thank you from everyone at CORE and Barn N Bunk Farm Market for making our 2011 4x4s For A Cause such an awesome success!!!!
