This years "Rocked To The Core" ultimate adventure will be held at Haspin acres first with people arriving friday night 11/11/11! We will wheel at night and the following saturday 11/12/11. From there we will leave in the afternoon and move on out to Big Rock spending the night saturday and wheeling all day sunday. The weather ladies have stated that this date should be some of the most beautiful weather for the month of November.

Saturday is the toys for tots day at haspin so if you bring a toy you get a discount on admission and a meal or you can donate cash as well I believe. $10 gift or better = $10.00 admission, meal ticket and raffle ticket. Definitely a great date to go wheel and also help out the community. Muddy Buddies will definitely be thankful for our support! Food has been very good in the past.

Some people will be driving their rigs in true almost ultimate adventure fashion from one trail head to the next and others will be trailering. Camp at Haspin will be set up at the shoe tree. Night run at 7-8pm. Saturday run at 10am leaving from shoe tree. Look for the "CORE" banner on the gray enclosed trailer. Cb channel 12 will be used and monitored. Camp at Big Rock will be on the left side of the main entrance back by the tires. A night run will be held at both locations so make sure your lights do not get crushed on the day trip. The owner "Duke" at Big Rock requests that all rigs have a muffler of sorts to keep the peace for the night run. At haspin we will have the traditional "vanishing pumpkins" act in the late night hours friday which is always a spectacle that you will not want to miss starring the 1/2 stick.

I will keep this list of who will be attending updated so post up if you are going or sitting at home youtube wheeling. Yellow smilies means going. All other smilies means not attending.

Put down as there, for Sat and Sun but no camping; too cold. Possibly bringing the whole family.

Scheduled to work that weekend but I will try to shuffle a few things. I will be there one way or another.

Yeah you should have no problem getting to the shoe tree as long as it is not raining. Rv's make it there. Sarge had his there last year in the sleet towing the 1 ton jimmyrig.

I'm not sure any rules are enforced there besides paying to get in,and no swimming in the ponds. Thats why its so awesome/terrible there!

I'm still waiting on bearings to rebuild the t-case. If they get here this week I should have the new gears in and be ready to go!

Im. Going to make a valiant effort to be there Saturday. Have Gymnastics in clevelnd on Sunday though, so need to figure out when I need to leave for up there. At Haspin friday night we will come and go from the camp to the trails at around 7pm or so. Adult beverages just like last year. Eat late at night by the fire. Saturday at 10am we leave from the shoe tree to the trails. Saturday night probably stop on the way to big rock for a nice dinner.

Hey new to the site but i noticed that your from Price Hill im from western hills by western bowl!! Me and my buddies are trailering out there about the same time Wouldnt mind hitting the trails with all you guys!! we got about 5-6 rigs going if they are all wheeling by the time you get out we could link up and go find everyone im in a black f350 with a 25ft trailer with to jeep XJ's i will have a white e350 van with a s-10 on the back as well keep an eye out for us... Enjoy hitting the trails and possibly meeting new friends!!!

We may make tomorrow. I've seen two addresses -- one on mapquest (Rt 10) and 8157 Stonelick Road. Which is correct? If we get our stuff together and decide to bring the motorhome tonight, what time do you all think you'll get there?

Big Rock is located a little over and hour east of Cincinnati, Ohio, just outside of Maysville, Kentucky. For those of you using internet directions our address is 8157 Stonelick Road. Beware though! Mapquest is NOT the most accurate on getting you here. DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS DIRECTIONS FOR A LEFT TURN ONTO TAYLOR MILL RD., FROM RT 11.

From the Cincinnati, and Northern Ky area, you should take Rt9 (AA Hwy) (exit 77) off of I-275.
Follow Rt9 all the way to Maysville, should take just over an hour, from the Wendy’s you continue on for 4 1/2 miles (6 mile marker). On the right side of the road look for our (NEW) sign. Take the next road on the left and follow the arrows to the parking lot. For long campers and trailers make a left on Rt 3313, then a right at the stop sign, about 1/2 mile to park entrance.

Broke the tranny again, but this time it broke the ears off around the tail bolts. This is geting old.:mad: I think my poly trans mount failed this time and ripped the bolts out. It shouldn't have broke just because I was bouncing off the rev limiter going up this steep rocky hill. At least I made it. :thumbup:

I recall some carnage.

Danny(SixFtund) Broke a rear drive shaft u-joint
Robert ( WrenchMonkey) Cut a left front tire
Tony(Itbrokeagain) Cut a left front tire
Me(Coppertop) Broke driver's side mirror retainer spring and bent radio antenna.

I'm curious who clocked the most miles on their rigs.I totaled 264 miles for both days.

Danny also had a rear brake line go, starter solenoid rupture and charging issue. I lost the passengers side body panels.
Hopespringshauler tin foiled passengers side rear panel.

No doubt... Some of the newer hills we climbed were seriously long and steeeeep!!!!! :eek: That first one me and Scott climbed had me thinking half way up, what the hell have I gotten myself in to. I was waiting for the front end to lift and flip over. I like all the new stuff he has added to Big Rock. :thumbup:

When you leave the parking area, stay to the right and follow the trail to the creek. There are several drop offs further down the creek. When you see the house, turn around.

So when it drops off and that hill goes into the creek, continue to drive up the creek?

Duke told me it could also be accessed thru the jeep trail and at the first intersection following the 2 large hills on the left and right take a right which leads to the creek bed.

I wish I could have gone with you guys on some runs. But I had a group of 6 jks at dirty turle that Friday...

There are many ways down to the creek. Any on the right side should get you there. We usually just ride the creek all the way down.
