Annual CORE Hangover Run!

The annual "CORE HANGOVER NEW YEARS DAY RUN" is coming up! This will be on the 1st of january 2012. The group will be departing from the parking lot at Big Rock offroad park at 9:30 am and heading into the woods for some great winter wheeling to start off the new year right. Post up if you plan on attending so we can get a count. :beers:

I was able to get all of my electrical connections protected with dielect grease last night so i can splash around in the shallow stuff. Still don't have dif breathers extended.

I wm still up for saturday camping. I can bring firewood and if needed other stuff. Just let me know.

what part of town are you in? i will be leaving the Loveland area mid afternoon, not sure the exact time yet... Going to try and get to big rock before dark on saturday... I will post up a solid time for saturday by tomorrow evening...

I live in Liberty Twp area.. So I take it that everyone is going down Sunday for the day.. instead of Saturday ..for trail riding? If so.. Ill be there Sunday morning early.. but let me know if anything changes..

Weather starting to change. Now it's rain in the morning on Sunday. Not worried about the falling temps but I'm sick of rain. Gotta work in it. Don't wanna play in it! Guess we'll see.

Just to let you all know. WE GOT NO RAIN TODAY! Haven't had any since Tuesday. The sun and wind over the last three days has really helped to dry things out alot! It was even a little dusty on top this afternoon. It sounds to me as if any rain will hold off until late on Sunday!

We had a good turn out today. I had fun once I got there. Was 2 hours late thanks to the rear axle breaking on my trailer. everything had that 2-3" coating of slime on it which made for some interesting slidding around as seen in one of the pics. trails that were normally a walk in the park were more skinny pedal and luck but all in all i say it was a good day and a great turn out for january 1

Yep, name tags for sure. With name and forum handle on them. I'm not too hard to spot out of the crowd. I'm always the only full size Chevy in the bunch. It was good to meet you.

I was just thankful the windshield, doors and top stayed on for the run instead of being left safely on the trailer. ;) Actually wasn't too bad in the valley out of the wind. It was a good time. Didn't get many pics....

The pink hook will wear off of the rig in one ride! Gonna need a heavy duty one if I am the recipient.

After deep deliberation into the laws passed down from many a year in the CORE archives I see that if no one is there to witness the happening then the pink hook does not apply. George gets it!

Kris received it being stuck in a trailer. Sorry Scott but I think it is in order for pink hook, you can put on your helment. It will take a while to wear that off. I you thing changing out your helment each ride we should make sure he has a sticker for each helment.... I aalso say he needs one for the truck that lost the ride...

Thanks...:) The camera shop made a recovering attemp with no luck.Then everything started working ok ,he took several pics with no issues.I got home took ten pics.Same issue....
