I got an email from sprint, that I was about to go over my data limit. I call them and explain that I don't HAVE a limit, I pay extra for the unlimited plan.

They say: You do now. We changed it. Your "unlimited" plan is now a 3gig plan. Oh yeah, for the same price.

So now they expect me to pay the same money for less service. Funny, I signed a two year CONTRACT with them, six months ago. I always thought the point of a CONTRACT was to bind both parties to what they promised in writing.

And they wonder why people hate big businesses...

Contracts are only for people without deep pockets and no lawyer on retainer. In the fine print, they reserve the right to modify the existing plan on a as needed basis when deemed necessary by the governing bodies over seeing the afore mentioned transaction to continue to due business with all consumers in good faith.

Yeah, your screwged.........

In my experience, your only recourse is to cancel your service and go to another provider. Their changing the terms is a breech of the contract and therefore you should no longer be bound.

it doesn't get any better with ATT. i had sprint for years and switched to ATT and have been with them for the last 7 years. for the past 2 months our phones would not work over 80% of the time. i stayed patient with them and helping work on the problem. they never fixed the problem, this was two different phones so it wasn't a phone issue(both me and wife had same problem) we had no choice but to switch leaving the contract as i told them, we can't do buisness with non working phones. on to verizon, phones work fine now.

cell phone companies and satellite companies both are crooks. they know they have their customers by the nutsack and that they can squeeze as hard as they want. thats why I cancelled all satellite, all cable and our phones are on a plan that is 10 years old with no data and no txt msgs (I hate it when people are too effing lazy to type out a word too) oh and we've got both my folks and my mother-in-law on our package too just to keep them from having to pay the greedy ass cell companies more money. I would say the hell with cell phones for good except land lines are just as expensive.

My phone is still unlimited, yes.

The hub I use for my laptop was originally unlimited 4G, and up to 3gb of 3GB.

Now it reads 3gig of 3/4G. Combined.

Pretty dumb, I can use all the bandwidth to surf all the por- I mean internet I want, as long as I do it on a 4" screen.
