Ford Dana 60 front, 10.25 rear, (6) dually wheels & tires, ZF 5 speed
All of these parts were removed from a running/driving truck. Here is the story of these parts.
Once upon a time there was a very nice & clean 1989 Ford F350 4x4 truck. The owner took very good care of it. The owner was caught "being friendly" with another lady. The owner's wife/girlfriend found out and took a sledgehammer to his truck, and placed a brick on the accelerator until the 460 engine blew up. That guy sold the truck to a guy in Coshocton who scraps vehicles for a profit.
I bought the transfer case, ZF 5 speed transmission, front Dana 60 axle, the rear Ford Sterling axle, and all six dually wheels & tires from the scrapper guy...I bought them on Valentine's Day...how fitting, as it was a romantic relationship gone wrong that ultimately caused me to acquire these parts.
Everything above is 100% true as told to me by scrapper guy, and I kinda doubt he made all of that up---he knew the people involved.
Enough about that. Here are the prices:
1. $799 for the dually front kingpin Dana 60 axle--complete minus the tie rod. It has 4.10 gears.
2. $299 for the dually Ford 10.25" rear axle. It has 4.10 gears.
3. $299 for all six dually 16" wheels. The rear wheels have expensive alloy simulators on them with nice center caps.
4. Package deal A: All of the above items for $999. One could convert their F250 or F350 truck to a dually for less than $1000.
5. $399 for the Ford ZF 5 speed transmission. Junkyards want at least twice that for these transmissions.
6. $199 for the Ford transfer case. Junkyards want well over twice that for these too.
7. Package deal B: The trans and transfer case as shown (still bolted together) for $449.
8. Package deal C: Everything in this ad for $1199.
