I have traced it to the master cylinder, the valves work and so does the master in normal operating conditionsjust won't relase off presure after line is in locked.

I have seen some instructions say that to release their valve, you should step on the pedal and then release the valve.

That is odd. A manual valve should just release. All I got to do is flip the switch on mine and off it goes. You doing all 4 wheels? Maybe too much pressure coming back at once. Dunno...

Will do,
I would liketo see the pic also. I'm just curious how you did it.
I am doing the same. I cut my push rod down to about 1/2 the original length. I took a barrel nut or all thread nut 3/18-16 drilled a small portion of it to allow it to slip on to the rod. Welded it in place and took some all thread crowned one end and cut so that the smallest length is 5-3/8". So I can adjust it out or cut it smaller if needed. I have heard you need about 5-5/8" in length from center to end. Mine can be adjusted to about 6" but i hope i don't need to go that far.
Also Speedway Motors sells an adjustable rod for $10 if you are not diy person.

I bought an adjustable one from Napa years ago, it was marked as an adjustable clutch slave pushrod.
