someone should call them... make sure it's cool, so we aren't without a place to camp after we get there, etc... but that place would be ideal to camp, very cool for sure, flat, amenities right there, fuel, food, etc.

Also closer to get to, knocks a full half hour off the drive time at least. Whoveveer calls, maybe see if we can have ongoing permission as a club in general to camp there... get the persons name that gave permission, etc.

Truggy? You got time to arrange this?

Not sure about the calling thingy. I get sceered on phone calls! If it falls through maybe the exit or 2 before livingston will have a wallyworld or truck stop to hang out at. Hangin out at truck stops can be very entertaining :D

We need Fabricator and his sidekick Tinbeater to come with us to Livingston instead of them going to parkinglot city Harlan. I have been wanting to see what these 2 rigs are made of. Wondering if Tinbeater lives up to his name, and if Fabricator can actually fabricate. ;) Come on guys what do ya say? Are ya in! :(

i think a girl is perfect for the job...

and... I'm gonna be pissed if Fabricator and his crew go to Harlan instead of wheeling with some real wheelers in Livingston.

Maybe these toyota and sami guys are too afraid to run with us, afraid we will make them look silly... Fabricator and Tinbeater don't have the balls to come wheel, they'd rather sit in the Harlan parking lot and watch everyone else play with their junk.

Oh they have a sammi and a toy? :o Man thats too bad! :D I think I may have just cursed my junk now and I will probably be the one busted! Come on Tinbeater and I will show you a good time!

We are in the process of contacting them now to get permission. May have to bring bait to get us in to camp though.

Just an up date on Livingston :

I spoke with Shawn Carder this morning , he was down with his brother , bear and few others this past week end. The rangers and local police are hitting it heavy. Kevin got two really chicken sh*t tickets ( 1 - no insurance card and 2- no license on person ) . a few others got seat belt citations . they were sitting at the top of the hill by pink rock checking everyone that came in or went out. they advised everyone that if they caught them off the main trail they would be charged with criminal trespassing.

We may need to go in the back way. Truggy doesn't stand a chance don't you think? I have plates for it and title but insurance is difficult.

Ditching the Harlan trip to go to Livingston is about like telling Linda Lovelace that you would like a hand job.:D :D

I also heard from Terry from TKH and there is a real legitmate problem with Livingston right now...I will not be going back for a while. Why not make it the badlands and I believe I can make it the weekend of the 19th :D

$5000 for ticket and criminal trespassing are not in my future!

Tellico is a 6 hour drive also.

You guys suck..
Just go to Harlan
it is free of tickets.
Truggy, we promise that we will
do the easy trails .

Now that sounds like a great time. Loss of money and possible jail time, I'm in.

BADLANDS? No night riding, drinking, smoking, cursing and campfires? They have alot of rules. I have been wanting to go check it out for a long time now and I am hearing from friends that Livingston is being overrun by park rangers right now looking for a raise and I do not want to contribute to their pizza party fund. Who all is in favor of the badlands other than Jeepman, stang and Mudstud?

Tinbeater have fun in the traffic jam at harlan. If you change your mind and want to cover some ground then head out with us to the badlands!

I would sell my junk if the only place I had to wheel was the Badlands.
Not much there if you ask me. Other than the rock quarry and pink trail.;) If you want to cover some ground, go to Windrock. You can run around there all today in 2 wheel drive.

and the pink trail.

There is only 1 choice
canopener and lionsden has got truggys name on it
I will stay in the parking lot and
monitor traffic
.
Even when that place has an event
their are plenty of chances
to get on the ruff stuff

How far away is harlan from cincinnati? (the great city)

carwash

4-4.5 hours, depending on how you drive.

i love the badlands, one of my favorite places in a crawler, quite a few ledges there that still havent' been climbed... but alas, no rails allowed.

livingston sounds like a bad idea at this point i guess... i don't need a tickete, etc...

the original plan of harlan might be the way to go, getting my rail back together at this point is not looking good... the issues with my trans are beyond my expertise, and it has to be dropped somewhere... I will keep you updated.

D&K is open this weekend , give them a search . It might take a little work as there syte is down but you can get ahold of them if you try.

Oh , and it's no more "off limits" now in Livinston that it's ever been. There's never been legal riding in the Cromers Ridge area.

Take it to drews Carwash! If you are unable to go then I may hit the badlands. If you get the rail running then maybe we can look elsewhere.

I go once a year and not much changes in the rocks or the trails. I still enjoy it,but the park shuts down at 5:30-6:00, and there is no chance for night runs. I was wondering about redbird off road park they say it ranges from mild to wild!

Ask Bear how well cherokee's hold up on there first roll :D you don't need a cage unless you plan on driving off one of the switch backs ..... and then the best built cage isn't going to do you any good anyway
