Trenton in Saturday? What's going on in Trenton on Saturday? Big yard sale or something?

fabricator 08-04-2009 10:50 PM

Will it fit on the trailer? Do you remember how to wheel? Wondering since it has been 3 years or so since you have wheeled if you are able anymore. If the radical rockwelled big block buggy makes it to the benifit I will promise not to run over it! :p

carwash 08-05-2009 09:04 AM

Of course it fits on the trailer, and it has only been a year since i wheeled. Been longer since i wheeled a slow moving rig... so will take some getting used to again im sure.

And thanks so much for not running over it, yer retarded.

carwash 08-05-2009 11:14 PM

Holy Chit!!!! Out of the shop, and posing for it's beauty shots... rig is done, minus my propane issue and exhaust, which it was dropped off for tonight...

Loaded it on the trailer tonight, and was surprised to find that i actually had room on both sides of the trailer. I figured it was gonna be hanging off... Hell this makes it more narrow than my last rig on 1 tons. Sweet.

When it gets back here, i have to fine tune my air shocks, as you can see in the shots above, it's sitting a little low in the rear. As it sits right now, i have about 3 inches of up travel in the front and 4 inches up in the rear.

I want to keep it as low as i can, but still want to have some up travel. what is the best number you think. they are 18" travel...

drmeece 08-06-2009 06:19 AM

Looks great good job

94Dodge Truggy 08-06-2009 07:41 AM

tjjeepjeep 08-06-2009 08:42 AM

carwash 08-06-2009 09:05 AM

Thanks y'all. Can't wait to hit the trails again...

Haspin anyone? hehehe.

hardluck 08-06-2009 11:49 AM

beautiful man, simply beautiful. :)

94Dodge Truggy 08-06-2009 12:43 PM

How about a bar on the sides to keep the trees and rocks off the doors?

carwash 08-06-2009 12:56 PM

the door is made of bars, no need to protect with more bars... and i don't care about the skins... those smashes will be beauty marks, or memories...

fabricator 08-06-2009 04:49 PM

cliffnote a propane update ...

carwash 08-06-2009 05:17 PM

none to speak of really, it runs better, but not perfect. I have the poppet valve disabled as a bandaid...

carwash 08-06-2009 09:25 PM

Exhaust done tonight... i do not envy my exhaust guy, but he does amazing work. Space was so limited, i had concerns that it wasn't even possible to run what i needed.

If you want great work done in this area, lemme know and i will hook you up with him..

2.5 inch all the way back to a flowmaster delta series muffler, tucked up nice and tight to the floor... with small tail exiting. Everything out of harms way, etc...

It's nice and quiet til i hit about 2500 rpm, then it gets a bit throaty. I didnt' want so loud that i couldn't hear engine issues, etc...

Flxratd 08-07-2009 09:26 AM

hard to tell in the pic but possibly some heat wrap by t case just to not overheat the fluid in it but other than that looks great

sarge 08-07-2009 10:42 AM

Well first off , All I can say is " BANG'N " ,

next is -- we are going wheel'n but the first run is at night !!!! ;) better get some lights on that thing . You gotta go with the Delta H4's .

94Dodge Truggy 08-07-2009 10:51 AM

I can't believe the tires aren't dry rotted!

AFTERSHOCK151 08-07-2009 01:34 PM

That is bad a$$ one of the nicest I've seen, and I haven't even seen it in person yet. I would be very proud to own the "YETI" I guess I will see it in person in Trenton tomorrow right? I guess we will have to head down to the creek after the show right Sarge?

Hey "SALLY" were going to see you tomorrow too right?

See everyone in the morning and bring your money I will be taking the highest bid on the winch right after the show ends since they will be drawing my ticket. Can't see putting that in my trailer just to pull the jeep in and out.

Again looks awesome see ya tomorrow.
Jim

Stang849 08-07-2009 04:48 PM

Looks great Mike!!

RuffedUpXJ 08-07-2009 05:28 PM

Well just bring it and leave her on the trailer. Great fab work Mike.

carwash 08-07-2009 05:37 PM

Truggy, yer a ****, but i love ya.

See you all tomorrow.

mckeddie 08-08-2009 06:50 PM

still the same propane issue of not firing after running? we had a jeep do that at slade one time, it would fire perfectly every time we would push start it, but wouldn't fire without a push, he ended up having to replace a couple of orings in the brand new system. worth a shot.
