That XJ is very cool...

Pretty nice... The chop-top was the original plan for mine, but I kinda fell in love with the mirrored/vented side windows. And the dry storage. Okay, more-or-less dry...

That one's awfully shiny for my taste, but it looks like good work. I think they grafted the entire MJ roof onto it, about an inch or two taller than the XJ.

Cool.

Yeah but i still have to work late just so I dont drive 28 miles home then turn around and drive back past the milford exit..ya'll can meet me at my work and ride with me....if that helps....Im out in gods country..we have 2 bars...3 banks, and 1 gas station...

so that way you can go to the bar,

stumble out of it across the street and hit up the bank for a loan to pay the tab at said bar

then head to the next bar stopping at the other bank(which right next door to the second bar) and get a loan for the next tab,

leave there and stop at the next bank and get a loan for fuel,

then proceed to the fuel station...to get a 12 pack for the ride home.....hahahha....

Im not sure if thats what they did,Id say your right. I had a link to the build but have since lost it. I would love to put the first scratch in it!! either way I have seen a few conversions on pirate4x4.com and they turned out decent. They didnt put a whole lota time into looks like the one I posted.

I would love to find an MJ...

Yeah, the guys on NAXJA do that all the time...

We wheel with one 'manche all the time. I don't know if Tom's on CORE, but he's on NAXJA as ComancheDude. (He's the powder blue one in my gallery.)

Tim, the guy that got me started wheeling, sold his XJ to build up a gorgeous CJ5 that didn't wheel for snot. He sold it to build the red MJ on my page.

He hasn't been out with us in a couple years, but he's currently swapping in a Ford 5.0, and should be out this summer.

See ya

By that measure, I'm toxic suburbia... Toxiburbia?

I drive 16 miles to work.

53 traffic lights.

Dang it....we do have one...man o man..I never wanted to live in suburbia,anywhere,U.S.A

O well..the truth hurts...

GT MOTORSPORTS 05-24-2009 11:09 PM

on my way to work I have 7...28 miles one way....

BiggDaddy 05-24-2009 11:11 PM

what about churches

Up here there is pretty much atleast one church for every bar in every town you go to. That way you can pray for a safe ride home after previous excursions.

It scares me that you both know the number actually. I'm trying to count and am losing interest somewhere around Red Bank :)

She did say "Stop lights," plural.

I think with one you may be okay on a technicality, unless you have to count the four sides of the intersection...

Can we get a ruling from admin?

Robert

I wouldn't bother on my way in, having to deal with traffic.

But on my way home, when I'm the only guy around, and I'm stuck sitting at every other dammed red light... By my SELF...

It gives you time to fume about it.

tjjeepjeep 05-24-2009 11:17 PM

Yea I don't think one would make it suburbia. Definitely multiples required to place you in that category...

Ah yes...second shift. :D

GT MOTORSPORTS 05-24-2009 11:34 PM

Glad to know im good since we have one...lol

I cant remember how many churches we have..I know at least 3...wait 4...and one masonic lodge...next to the first bank..acrossed the street from the first bar...none of the churches are close to the bars...

2nd shift..I used to work seconds..glad im one first with having my daughter..

On my way to work all the idiots are out..I swear they should all leave there houses earlier..I set my cruise at 60 and they still fly around me..once i paced a guy just to see how fast he was running...it was 73...I just dont get it..I leave around 5:20 a.m. when we have over time..when we dont I leave around 6:40 a.m. at that time there are no idiots..on the way home I have a cushion..leave before 4:00 p.m. or wait till 5:45..leave any where between and youll sit in traffic coming off 275...and still not get home any earlier than if i left at 5:45...

I've been on second shift, almost non-stop, for twenty years!

Damn that makes me feel old...

Robert

GT MOTORSPORTS 05-24-2009 11:46 PM

I think the lemonade is affecting your math skills, love...

2009 - 1973 = 16 + 20...

:D

(Although, if you wanna count cutting grass after school as "second shift," then yeah, at 12... That makes it almost TWENTY-FIVE years... Thanks a lot.)

tjjeepjeep 05-24-2009 11:54 PM

Yea well I can't do math anyway. So add some kickin' pomegranate lemonade into the mix, it's hopeless. And heck 36 isn't old...I would know..

GT MOTORSPORTS 05-24-2009 11:58 PM

LOL....I started at 13....
