That weekend still works well for us (and appears others). Would have been tricky for another weekend. Come on with us to Livingston. When will Marilyn know if she'll be able to go? (Course that's provided girlz is allowed and Truggy hasn't corrupted everyone else. )

Mudstud 09-23-2007 12:33 PM

Ok. Same weekend but going to Livingston. Sounds good to me. Where are we going to camp. Remember, the field on the 80 side has been closed down. The 909 side looked a little rough to get to. Any Ideas?

Marilyn has a family reunion to attend in Tenn. that weekend. Trying to talk her out of going. Wheeling is WAY more important than family reunions.(Just Kidding) but she will not know for sure for a few more weeks.

Lisa, Marilyn said she will e-mail you tomorrow.

Awesome. I'll push the wheeling v family reunion too. ;)

Camping is a problem right now. I am researching alternative spots now. The motorcross site would allow us to park but the land is not flat anywhere and a monetary fee is required.

carwash 09-23-2007 09:23 PM

what about the field on the other side of the road from where we used to camp, the one where those kids were partying that one time...

sarge 09-23-2007 11:32 PM

That field is also the USFD property the signs were also pulled out of the ground and in the weeds.

carwash 09-24-2007 01:01 AM

so where can we camp at Livingston? should we hotel it?

sarge 09-24-2007 01:24 AM

Kevin Carder , Shawns brother , has said that CORE can camp on his property , he is in Mt. Vernon . short drive to 909 on trails or road ! :) or has anyone talked to the owner of the 49er ?, I think someone from the club was trying to get a hold of them to see if we could camp at the field by the Shell station.

Just to be clear ! are we planning on going to Livingston on Oct. 19-21 ?

fabricator 09-24-2007 01:59 AM

was down there in the spring
truck stop said we could park in the back of their lot
wish we would have cause my goose neck
caught the top of my tailgate coming back down out of there
happened right after pink rock, was pretty rough for a trailer
their info......

wow, camping in the 49er would be ideal... great for RV's etc... so that's for sure Fabricator?

And yes sarge, I am looking at the 19-21. I would do harlan, but the rail will be on a fresh trans rebuild etc, and i need to prove it before i drive that far, and just not sure how great harlan is gonna be for a rail, etc.

Perhaps we should start a new livingston trail run thread.

94Dodge Truggy 09-24-2007 08:56 AM

I was wanting to get a thread goin

..........

It is for sure that I asked and it is for sure that they said was ok to stay in the back.
But i did it when i pulled up to get fuel
so that might have swayed their vote....
but they have told us this before, and we stayed there before.......has been a while.
I probably wouldn't try to push the issue with a fire or something......
spend a little money there if they give you permission.

carwash 09-24-2007 01:29 PM

so, where are they saying to camp... like keep going past the pumps and store, back to where it dead ends back there...

that is a nice flat area, and will be great... Have to bring the big RV again if so...

but no fires at all?

Gotta have a small fire! Fire next to the gas station sounds like fun! :D

94Dodge Truggy 09-24-2007 01:41 PM

Hey Tinbeater and Fabricator! How about ditchin the parkinglot at Harlaan and ridin with us? Been itchin to see if Tinbeater can live up to his name ;) and the same thing for fabricator. Can he really fabricate? :p Come with us to Livingston and I will personally show you a good time! I may run over some rail buggies if they get in my way! Hah! I am planning on outjumping Carwash and his buggy so I may need Fabricators welder! :o

carwash 09-24-2007 01:44 PM

yer on Truggy....

and yes, like i said in the other thread, i don't think they have the balls to wheel with us, they'd rather sit in the parking lot and watch others play with their junk.

was really hoping to wheel with fabricator and tinbeater... maybe they can make the right choice.

94Dodge Truggy 09-24-2007 01:45 PM

You think they are sceeered Carwash?

carwash 09-24-2007 01:51 PM

fear of being out-wheeled, thats for sure.

any way you can get a hold of shawn about this Sarge?

would be nice to have something set up before we go... it is less than 4 weeks away...

damn, that reminds me, i gotta get to work on teh rail.

94Dodge Truggy 09-24-2007 02:23 PM

I am good with vw's Carwash so let me know if you need me to test it out. I can pick it up this friday and bring it back to you by sunday for sure  !

If you'd call, that would be great. Unless we think they're gonna change their mind again on where we go that weekend... You can drop the reply in the other thread if you want.

chris_dishmon 09-24-2007 08:49 PM

man, there is some hardcore thread jacking here. i can't figure out who's going where and when what happens? :D
