Sarge, that's almost EXACTLY what I said you would say.

I think you need to set up your Photobucket account so that anyone can view the pics... it's asking me to log in as you...

KargoMaster 03-26-2007 02:48 AM

Yeah, it sux that you can't change just one album to Public (from Private).
You can only change your entire account...

sarge 03-26-2007 03:17 AM

ok I think I fixed it , some one try the link above and see if it works now .

sarge 03-26-2007 03:18 AM

So Brad , what did Dan say to you about it ?

who's rig is this? I've seen it before, I live just a few blocks from you, I think........does this rig have 1/4 eclipical rear suspension?

nolan

carwash 03-26-2007 09:18 AM

That belongs to Jim Smith. Previously owned by Steve Waters. Yes 1/4 elliptic rear, leaf front, fully hydro, etc... bad ass rig.

jeepmanjeff 03-26-2007 03:53 PM

Yup all was good till Sarge decided to flop her over. Eric...the "LITTLE" jeep got thru great for his first ever off road experience trip. However when he was cleaning his rig the next day he decided that the radiator needed cleaning with a pressure washer. He blew out all his fins on the radiator  . So he had to buy a new one. Looked like a chinese fan blown apart!

Steve was the only otyher casualty from CORE for the day, Blowing a left front u-joint on 3 wheel hill.

Cincicrawler had some scraping noise from the e-brake ending his day a little aerly.

Devils backbone was impassible. I tried several times to get up it. It was extremely wet and had a lot of bounciness in t so you could not get any momentum. Heck coming back up the way I went down was hard enough!

All in all a real good day...needed a lot of HP/torq and wheel speed!

carwash 03-26-2007 04:00 PM

dang, 3 wheel hill has claimed a few rigs on past trips, thats funny. I have wasted a u-joint on it more than once.

the backbone was that bad eh? wow.

Cincicrawler 03-26-2007 04:09 PM

it

it was still fun even with the nasty A$$ mud. As you can see in the photos. We have the rig on the lift. But have yet to open it up to see what went wrong in the rear parking brake. I am thinking Joel will be starting on it in the next 48 hours.
I think we did good.Kept up well with the 2 larger tired rigs. :)

The wrangler LOVES the rev-limiter ! What you think Jeff ?

94Dodge Truggy 03-26-2007 04:24 PM

I would have had a ball on devils backbone. Sounds like fun! Did you try the left side that empties you out a third of the way up on devils backbone Jeff ?

KargoMaster 03-26-2007 05:47 PM

Thanks for the pic fix Sarge!

So did Steve buy or borrow Uncle Holley's rig?

Good times.

Treefrogsw 03-26-2007 06:58 PM

My new rig. Just need some 1 tons under it. Its hard to keep the foot off the skinny pedal. It sat at dad's for 2 1/2 years now. I kinda new the joints might be a little dry. But had a ball on the quad.
Learned alot about how to run one in the woods. (point and shoot) Totally different then a Jeep. I love playing in the mud.

scott,im gonna have to make you show me these hillclimbs, too. im sorry we missed the fun this time. we were planning on coming, but some of us didnt have our jeep fixed in time, and then instead of just coming out in my rig we found ourselves tearing apart an old semi trailer to get some free E track

i have a feeling im going to really like wheelin with you and your truggy :D

Paul

guess youve never been there when i go down thats how i do it every time. straight down is definately safer IMO than taking one of the side shoots. if we dont go straight down the middle,we will usually go down the "crack" wich is that rocky creekbed to the right.

Cool, tell your folks that we miss them out in the woods... I'm sure that the Jeep will be well cared for now... :D
