Looks like a hellava fun ride. Once question, is your head suppose to be that close to the bars or do you just need to adjust the seat down. Maybe in person it is not as tight as it looked on the video.

twiztedzuki 03-25-2011 07:25 AM

Is that how the exhaust is going to stay? Looks like you'll be melting your boots after about 20 mins of wheel'n lol

twiztedzuki 04-24-2011 11:58 AM

yeah i had move brake master cylinders more forward than wanted to get away from heat, just have to c how hot it gets, if i hav any boots left after first run!!

yellowjacket 04-24-2011 12:54 PM

Im likin it man!.. Hey its amazing how good a rig looks when new, but 5 trips out and a couple rolls and resale cosmetics go down the toilet.. Looks awesome man

twiztedzuki 04-24-2011 02:53 PM

thanks!! i still waiting on drive flanges been month! need get my gauges on motor 2. sucks one trip wont be new lookin anymore! using alot of propane to need to work on it get mixer figured out

yellowjacket 04-24-2011 04:09 PM

Good luck on the propane... Based on how that motor sounds, im pretty sure it has a tapeworm. Mite should add a extra tank.
Were u gonna put air bumps on it? Wheres the cans? Maybe im thinkin of another rig..?

twiztedzuki 04-24-2011 05:04 PM

no i gonna put air bumps on it too, just gonna hav paint touched up when i gett'em. i was hoping i didnt hav mixer adjusted was cause of thirst! wasnt thinkin or id told jimmy make chassis to haul 2 tanks, but i thinking bout cutting back bars and bending new ones to haul 2

smokenram 05-03-2011 10:10 PM

Looks bad ass! so how many hours ya got in it?? Looks to be well worth it

carwash 05-04-2011 09:16 AM

Check for a vacuum leak in your baseplate, etc... very very hard to find. But if yer drinking the pane, you probably have one.

twiztedzuki 05-04-2011 10:50 AM

i have idle mixture all most all way in and still smell propane at idle. got gauges today so i let it run and c what i can find. way it going dont think i could wheel 4 hrs on tank!

Hope Springs Hauler 05-04-2011 12:46 PM

I could deffinately be wrong, but I think that I read an Impco manual that said that propane carbs adjust opposite of gasoline carbs. For example, if you want a leaner mix on a gas carb you adjust the screw in to tighten the needle to seat clearance. On the propane carb you would screw it out to restrict the valve.

This has seemed to work so far on my smaller propane stuff.

twiztedzuki 05-04-2011 02:32 PM

ok thanks when i get a minute i try to read up on it and turn it out and c what happens:thumbup:

BIGRAM 05-04-2011 08:18 PM

Can you run diesel in it? It may get better gas mileage!!!!:beers:
