For those of you that are planning on attending the Toys for Tots event at Haspin on November 14th -- If you would like a short sleeve/ long sleeve shirt or hoodie for the event, you need to preorder via the FBJ website. Here is a direct link http://www.scoutgraphics.com/product...8&subcat_id=56

Order deadline is November 2nd.
Shirts will be held at the event registration desk for pickup.

We are using the website in an attempt to keep inventory in line with demand. There may be a very limited amount of shirts available at event -- so if you want to be sure to get a shirt, please preorder.

Thanks you!

Any CORE guys coming???

hotrod 11-12-2009 08:23 AM

ill be there friday evening into saturday morning (i have to work at 7am saturday morn  ) if ya see a black Superduty with a trailer or a black zuki with lights on the hood come say hey!

Trigger 11-12-2009 08:35 AM

If I can get the YJ put back together, I'll be there Saturday morning. Look for a yellow Superduty with "Amarillo" on the bed pulling a black YJ on a deckover trailer. I will probably be over where the Muddy Buddy guys are.

I think ive seen you around before. I drool a little bit when i see your truck :D

Trigger 11-12-2009 09:16 AM

Thanks for the compliment. The Shortbus is hardly drool-worthy, but it's a good truck. Hope to see you there.

The event was a success! Biggest turnout I have ever seen. The weather was great and the trails were nice and dry which made the terrain easy to conquer.

Hopespringshauler and I rode most of the day and later in the evening hooked up with BOB, Marylin and grandson. Saw JEEPHD and his group and talked with them while they were bending a steering link back into a somewhat straight shape once again for a fella jeeper.

Devils backbone claimed a few axle shafts and steering components down near the bottom of the hill throughout the day and proved to be a challenge. A surfacing boulder has gotten taller and requires a throttle bump to get you around it. After that a good line is all you need and the climb is completed.

Had a great time and will be there next year! :beers:

Sounds like a good time. Anyone take pics......that we will actually see posted?

I also saw bob there and thought I seen you on your way out right after I got there and unloaded.
It was a great time and the hole at the bottom of the bone is getting bigger makeing it harder to get up ;)
Just fyi there were 574 toys and about $1300 in cash made so it was great weekend to wheel and great to help out the kids again this year

That is awesome numbers!!! Glad there was a great show of support!

JeepHD 11-16-2009 11:04 AM

I was the first in our group up the bone. I hit the hole and with couple easy bumps came over it. I spotted the next guy in our group and had him hang to the left and he made look it real easy and kept him out of the big hole.

We found short but tough climb way in the back with a good size rock ledge. I was more difficult than the backbone. Otherwise, we didn't find much of anything too tough since it was so dry, but we don't know our way around much.

tjjeepjeep 11-16-2009 06:50 PM

Let me guess...you took pictures with Truggy's camera too... :D
