Haspin Shake down
 

Sept. 8th or 9th headed to haspin acres weather permitting. Going on a test run before going to Swiss West Virginia.

If you go on the 9th Lisa and I might tag along

This is a good place to get some wheeling in as long as they have not had alot of rain. I think that you will have an even better time here learning. The trails start immediately, bathrooms are available and it is closer.

That's good to hear about the bathrooms. Cause you guys had to walk all the way to the nearest tree. ;) HA!

I could possibly go on the 9th also. I would definately benefit from some supervised wheeling. Some of the recent Haspin photos looked promising.

I like the idea that it is close.

Well you better not go to Haspin since those haspin dogs will get you at night.

Shouldn't be spending the night unless I break really bad. The explosions at camp and raging fires usually keep them away at night.:rolleyes:

So what's the plan? Who all is going on Sunday? 50% chance of rain, too.

Leavin shop at 8:30 for haspin as long as rain is not falling at that time. I will call Pete at haspin and get a weather update that morning.

I might show up If I fix my overheating problem. :confused:

Any ideas on why it is overheating? Clutch fan or electric? Mud in radiator fins

It has a clutch and electric fan. When it started overheating I replaced the water pump and thermo but, still randomly overheats. Jfiscus said maybe air pocket in head to remove temp sensor to bleed air out. Not tried yet. Might pull radiator to inspect.

I'll leave Middletown about 0800 Sunday morning. I assume you will post up early that morning if you are advised of conditions that cause you not to go. I will PM you for a cell phone number incase I have trouble finding the park.

I too, will be watching the temp gauge. But it is a shake down ride..

Chris (502EFI) and me want to go but he has church sunday..We might be there saturday morning and stay all day if it rains tonite..If anyone is going to be there saturday let me know and maby we can hook up..
