06 f-150 slip yoke

Slip yoke issues on my 06 f-150. Ford said it's spline' s binding up and lubricate the slip yoke with grease. Sounds weird to me does not help . But is the problem area. Has anyone had same issues or fixes for this issue. Drive shaft super store sells an slip yoke eleminator flange as well if anyone knows or has done one any help would be great.

when I worked at Ford.dealer we put some blue teflon special grease on the slip yokes seemed to work.

That's what I'm reading online but just seems odd. Was there any wear on the spline' s ?

Chevy had the same issues over certain years. My brother-in-law had a late-90's Tahoe that started doing the same thing. Accelerating from a stop it clunk and it was the splines on the driveshaft binding and then releasing. Pretty sure they had a TSB or something about it and would grease the splines. He took it back to the dealership several times and the problem would go away for awhile but always come back after a few months.
