Windrock Sept 4th - 6th
 

I'm getting my rig checked over to be top Knotch for this trip... a few of us plan to roll out on Sept 3rd Thursday evening...

It's gonna be a awesome trip !!!

I'm in. There are four of us that will be leaving Thursday the 3rd at 5pm. Gonna be a great time. :thumbup:

I've never been to Windrock. I'm interested but not sure until the end of the month. Mind if I tag along?

As long as it's not invasion of the side by sides like it was last year. I've never seen so many in one spot before. The camp ground was completely full, and people were parking on the side of the road.

Some are going to Rush for the SRRS.

Still hoping to make it though it may be for just one day.

What is the plan for lodging? Will you all be camping a la Rush ? If so, can poach enough space for tow rig and trailer?

Sadly, I won't know if I can make the trip until the week of the trip. I will give you a go/no go asap.

I cant go that weekend. We have camping plans. I know tj our buddy brock and adam and myself are going to dixie run at gold mountain the weekend of sept 25-27.

I already had plans for windrock on the 16th can't make that trip twice in that short of time. Otherwise I would be there.

We plan on meeting at the southbound 75 rest area "mile marker 177 - Florence" at 5:30 pm on Thursday the 3rd.

And if you do park in primitive, what can they do to MAKE you move? Throw you out? Tow your truck and trailer? I bet they don't do anything. I've seen others there. I had my box truck parked in primitive in 2013. Nobody said a word. You wouldn't have to park on the side of the road, you can camp in the park if you had to. We will roll in there after hours, so we will be set up already.

I'm all about following rules and procedures, and yes idiots make it hard on everyone else and force them to be the way they are, keeping it simple and posting signs would make the most sense. We will just have to see how it works out.
