Gray hill?

Where is this gray hill? I believe it is in tennessee or south carolina. I have seen video and read about the place and want to check it out this year. Anyone been there or know of such a place? It is called clay hill I am now hearing.

Mt. Olive, Alabama, if this is the one.

If that's the one, it ain't close, but could be fun over a long weekend, or a week long trip.

They better be! I plan on testing them this year!

itbrokeagain 02-06-2008 04:49 PM

That was one wicked sounding engine. Wow.
you need to watch his other videos.

Ok I have changed my undies now.

I am building a tube buggy with a bored and stroked ford 427 with a blower and nitrous with rockwells and 54 inch boggers.

carwash 02-06-2008 08:21 PM

i think cameron runs a 502 ramjet in that rig if i recall correctly, or that might be a different ColeWorx rig... the one that ran the wheelie in that one video..

itbrokeagain 02-06-2008 10:08 PM

Yes it is a ramjet 502.

carwash 02-06-2008 10:29 PM

big power... silly big power... imma have to go big block eventually, i know it...

i bet Jeff H could hook me up....

itbrokeagain 02-06-2008 10:32 PM

I want big block power.

carwash 02-06-2008 10:40 PM

i wont go big block til i get 2" shafts in my rocks... the kind of power i want will twist stockers like crazy...

who knows, maybe i wont need the BB power... or want it. i should get what i have running first i guess.

itbrokeagain 02-06-2008 11:34 PM

5 tons. I really want to build a buggy

carwash 02-06-2008 11:46 PM

i have seen sets of 5 ton axles go damn cheap, like 600 bucks or so... pretty big and heavy... 10 lug rims, etc.

Hybrid 02-06-2008 11:52 PM

If you read the thread sarge posted with the video they say that guy was running 2" shafts in those rockwells!! Crazy!

94Dodge Truggy 02-07-2008 06:57 AM

These guys are who I have been chatting with and about. I get funny feelings inside just watching em :o . These buggies are what has inspired me to build a high powered single seater but that build will not be until next year and by then they will have probably moved on to something even badder and I will be outdated!
