YJ drieshaft - Cross Reference

I was wondering if anyone knows if a stock yj driveshaft with a CV joint will fit a cj with a 4" suspension lift. I believe the yj it came out of is a 99 and the cj i plan to put it in is an 83.

Thanks for the info.

If it's a 1999 model CV front shaft it's out of a TJ. You'll need to measure full stuff and full drop then you can get it "fit" to size. Drivetrain Specialties cut, welded and re-balanced a shaft for me for like $80 (an hour labor?) I'm sure plenty of other places can do it as well like TKH Fab.
