sylvan learning center

Anyone have any experience with Sylvan center. My son is, well he's a nice boy, but he needs some specialist type help. He's a 1st grader but he's an older 1st grader so I really don't want to retain him. Basically his problem is he can read a word, but he can't read a sentence.
