OH MY!! CRAWL magazine's new buggy (spy pics)

Had a visit from the CRAWL guys just a little bit ago. John and Larry stopped by on their way home from SLC with their new buggy. OH MY GAWD is this thing a beast. Rear v8 powered (John said 425 hp) custom stainless buggy with all the trimmings. They ran through the specs with me, but I was in such awe I've forgotten most of the details. It'll be EJS in a few weeks, I can't wait to see this thing in action.

if any of you guys are heading this way for EJS in a few weeks, make sure you take time to check this monster out.

Best looking buggy I have ever seen hands down. Guages will be hard to read and not street legal but a serious crawler no doubt! Thanks for the spy pics man!

You might have seen his buggy leaving him forever...

What's up with the front brake lines?

Thats about how mine look, so I'm guessing they are plastic.

carwash 03-07-2010 09:57 PM

they would never run plastic lines on that buggy.

Nuts 03-08-2010 05:42 AM

Ok then, they're probably braided stainless lines. I didn't think of that before, but it would match the rest of the buggy...

Yeah either he used the wrong fitting for the banjo bolt and it had like a 90 degree built in or something else. Its not like there needs to be that much slack there, just the turning radius of the caliper. I would rather see that slack taken up by a small lightweight spring. Who knows if he cuts the wheel and the slack gets caught in the IROKs.

Plus that thing will probably be pretty loud, with those glass packs.
