Distributor install

I have installed distributors before and never had an issue. Had to pull the distributor in my Yj to replace the ignition module. Now I can not get it to drop back down. I have tried everything I can think of and no luck. I there a trick to a 5.0 distributor.

sounds like it might not be slipping over the oil pump rod. you can take a 1/4 drive i think 5/16 six point socket and an extention and turn the oil pump slightly and then try again. may take a couple times.
