Anyone headed down this weekend? They are celebrating being open for one year. Night rides and camping all weekend plus the challenge hills bounty is up to $1500 if anyone want to give it a shot I hope to get down there at some point

What is it and where at? I'm new to the member list

350 acre offroad park in Carrolton, KY. About 1.5 hrs south of Cincy on 71 towards Louisville. Celebrating one year of being open. Should be a good turnout.

can this hill be attempted with a side x side?

Sure:thumbup:...but you wont make it. Gonna take alot more wheel base.

It's a series of three hills that you must go up and back down without winching or rolling on the same day and document with a camera. Last year they had just one for a $250 bounty. It was conquered within a couple of weeks. The two climbs that were added started out severly undercut but have since eroded to the point that it might be doable with a long wheelbase. I know someone who will attemp it this weekend if his 54's come in.:cool:

I've never been there, but I'd like to check it out. What day/time do you think you'd be there? If I go, I'd like to be able to meet up with someone.

i would think that a rail could do this challenge... there will be a big buggy there this weekend 750 hp to give it a try... they have a night ride too schedule saturday night and also a big anoucement for KOH... thinking it will be BIG ( WEROCK COPY???) idk just a guess!

Not sure if I'll make it Saturday or Sunday. Trying to get there Saturday and if I do I'll be there from 9 till about 5. Look for a Gunmetal Blue TJ on 35's.

I think having the front wheels driven will be necessary but then I've seen some rails do things I wouldn't think was possible. I watched a chain driven rail drive up the exit of the third hill but there was no way he was going up the actual climb. It's not quite as undercut now though, so one might make it.

Well, 54's didn't come in. Won't be trying it on KRTB's in this slop:o John and Todd did spend all day Wednsday on a track hoe making some more challenging terrain for those who don't mind a bit of carnage:evilgrin: Should be a good time.

Had a great time in spite of the MUD! Challenge hill money still up for grabs. Great turnout and the new trails that have been cut are nasty. Cut bogger country for sure.

Why is there no video or pics of this bounty hill?

Which one....? I have a handful of the first one and there are videos of the MOAB jeep taking it then about three others after that. The other bounty trails in the series (for the $1500) have not been beat yet individually. There are only a few pictures I have seen of either of them.

It's not a big drive for most to check it out.

as for an 'impossible' climb..... Famous last words. Someone will get them, but the weather will need to cooperate. This wet 'n sloppy isn't going to get it done.

Photo's and video won't do them justice. To get the $1500 you have to do a series of three hills. The one in the video is the smallest. Someone will do it this year. Head on down and give it a try.
