Big Rock Trip June 18th
 

I'm heading back to Big Rock to wheel saturday june 18th.If the weather is dry...I'm going to drive down friday evening june 17th and camp out...

I am in, I am taking off work that Friday, so I will probaly be down earlier and maybe get some riding in Friday evening.

Im going to try to make it. If im able I'll head down early on Saturday for a bit till some time in the afternoon. Im still at stock height so I may not be able to hit all the places you guys can go. Im sure there are other ways around stuff though. That's fathers day weekend by the way.

What CB channel will you guys be running on?

Did'nt mean to steal your idea.:p Not sure what CB channel yet,I run the low single numbers.Most of the time 6 or 8.The plan for saturday is to be on the trail by 10:00am or at least heading out.Since sunday is Fathers day. I'm heading home saturday evening.

gyger222 you'll be fine..As long as you have a good front and rear tow point just in case you need a pull.Most of the stuff I like to do is right off the main trails.

Tim,I'm hoping to be there by five pm Friday,maybe earlier.Just depends on my work schedule.

Looks like isolated thunder storms all week down there. Saturday only has a 20% chance of rain though according to the weather channel. Hopefully it wouln't be too bad. Does anyone live in that area to give us some local reports?

As much as I hate to say it, Im not going to be ready to go by Saturday. I got cracked in the head by the rear hatch of the XJ I was pulling the rear hitch off of and had to go get some stiches so I didn't get everything done I needed to. Plus I've got to be at church at 4 to run the sound board for a play practice, so things just aren't working out for me. Hopefully I'll be ready to go next time. You guys have fun.

I'd like to find the trail we wheeled the night of the Rocked to The Core Tour.I think it runs somewhere through the center of the park.Tony, you still planning on going? Maybe ,between the two of us we can find it.

Post some pics if you got em. Was it pretty wet down there? It looked like a few thunder storms were headed right for you guys this morning.

One word ..WETnWILD:D No kidding, It was a blast...We choose our trails wisely.Yet ,we wheeled alot of good stuff.Never pulled a winch line and no one hit a tree. Heck,I never opened the tool box. At times ,the rain was pouring down.Yet,we hit the office at 7:00pm (closing time). Only a few pics this time.Just to wet and muddy to get the electronics out.

Duke,we wheeled some of the trails the dozer cleared.He is doing a good job. Really nice trails...I'll be back mid july.

Glad to hear you guys had fun. Sorry I didn't make it but I just got the TJ all cleaned up for my trip to Silver Lake dunes in a couple weeks. Didn't feel like dealing with the mud. I'm also working a trade for a 1 ton YJ with a V8 on 42's:cool:. Didn't want to risk any damage. I'll stop making excuses now. Hopel to catch up with you guys next time.
