Reds at 4wp
All this talk about stickies got me worring about how and where I'm going to get my next set. So I called 4wheelparts expecting to get no for an answer but they told me that they can order non-DOT krawlers and sell them to me. I was under the impression that you either had to be sponsored or know a guy that knows a guy to get reds. Is that not the case?

Get mine from pro drivers ussually. Hey u ever try trepadors?
Tuesday at mikes there was a beat tj on a trailor with bald krawlers. And I do mean bald! Belts hangin outta the tread. Wish I took pics |
I bet the 4WP made a mistake... BFG produces these in such small numbers I can't see them offering these to the general public nationwide.... unless the $$ is stupid high...
What was the cost... any mention on the 42/20 Red? |
They can't sell to the public. Im pretty sure they are still back ordered last I knew. Get to know someone who can vulcanize. I have a few places to get them from if you ever get in a pinch with them (ha, I made a pun, im a god dammed comedian)

Heres the krawler page at 4wp
http://www.4wheelparts.com/Tires/BF-...00787&t_pl=831 and the comp tire page from BFGs site http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/bfgco...krawler-t-a-kx Looks like the same tires to me??? Never tried treps, are they easier to get and how do they compare to krawlers? |
Better. Tread cleans out better, no sidewall cracks, closed cell construction so they don't get heavier when wet, and they make u faster, better and stronger and all the ladies love them too..

Sticky tire fags... just learn how to drive.
|
Yeah, stickies are as gay as rear steer. No need for either if you know how to drive.
|
thats what i was thinkin!!
|
Bfg has the best sticky tire hands down. The treps though I would consider the best trail sticky. They are tough as nails. The treps price is crazy though. I seriously think my next set will be mtr's. They are affordable, and anyone can buy them, and best yet, you don't have to have them shipped. Joey picked his up in toledo. You could probably cover most of the cost of a set of goodyears by selli g your Krawlers.
|
Holy crap.... imagine if you had rear steer and stickies... you could own.

Well, I've got two sets. One set looks more like racing slicks than offroad tires and the second set actually has some tread left on them. I just got Pitbull Rockers, so they need to go.
