Big Rock videos

went to big rock last saturday, had a pretty good time. it was dry and what mud was there we tried to avoid. all in all id say its a good park to beat on a stockish rig there are a few loose rocky hill climbs and a decent creek bed to play in. only carnage we had was a broken leaf spring on my buddy's cherokee. it was definatly worth the $20 since its only a half hour from the house. my little brother and i are in the yota, my buddy in the yj had never been offroad or even had his jeep in 4wd before, and my other buddy in the xj brought his prissy wife who had never gone wheelin either

carwash 08-24-2007 12:28 AM

i was just making a comment that the bald guy in the doorless yota doesn't appear to have a belt on at all...

that was just in the creek bed where it was basicly flat, everywhere else he was buckled in. no lockers, truck is bone stock with 31" at's

Yeah, I noticed the lack of restraints and rollover protection first off. Made me a bit nervous. The toyota looks great and the video was good. Helped me unravel from work a bit and remember when I was there all too long ago. No lockers makes big rock challenging and fun.

hardluck 08-24-2007 03:14 PM

i just go the truck haven't done anything to it yet

94Dodge Truggy 08-24-2007 03:20 PM

Looks like it doesn't need too much to be awesome! Let me know when you are going out again.

hardluck 08-24-2007 03:22 PM

will do, next time i go hopfully ill have the rear end welded

94Dodge Truggy 08-24-2007 03:32 PM

You will love the difference when it is locked up.

half hour from Bethel? Did you take 52 all the way down? 125 to 52? I thought it was an hour away.

hardluck 08-25-2007 03:25 PM

its like 32 miles from my house, it was probably more like 45 mins. i took 125 to 68 to 52

4RunnerAdam 08-25-2007 09:32 PM

Cool. I'll have to head over there sometime. Sounds like a good alternative to Haspin.
