Clean stock 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0, 5 speed. $3999.

I bought this today on the way home from work. It is a clean, non molested stock daily driver Jeep.

The frame is in great shape.
The paint is still shiny.
No body damage.
Driver seat is worn, interior is clean otherwise.
Minor rust on front fenders and a tiny spot on the tailgate.
180K miles.
Newer clutch.
Good tires
4wd works great.
New top within past year.
Runs & drives great.
Brakes are good
Clutch is good.
Stock Stereo.
Newer tow hitch.
Clear title.

I drove this Jeep for a few miles. The engine runs great, plenty of power, no bad sounds. The exhaust manifold has a minor leak. The clutch is good, trans shifts good, the 4wd doesn’t make any bad sounds. The heater is hot, etc. In short, this is a good deal on a daily driver Jeep TJ. If you can find a nicer one for under $4000, buy it.

The pictures were taken on Friday 1-6-2012 after 5:00 pm with my crappy cell phone. I will clean the Jeep up and take better pictures tomorrow---if it doesn’t sell tonight.

1. The tires on the Jeep are 30" AT's with good tread.
2. I bought some "Back to Black" product and used it on the driver front fender flare. It works, but I wasn't in the mood to clean all four of them.
3. I have the stock spare tire carrier and a like new matching 30" spare tire and matching wheel
--the previous owner had taken it off. Those parts are included with the Jeep.
4. I was able to get pictures with a real camera today.
