it was actually May 10th when he passed away...

Has anyone seen the two part special on him, I think it's aired on Speed? I, of course, knew who he was but didn't really have an appreciation for how much and what he'd accomplished. Very impressive. I enjoyed watching them, couple times actually.

Mr Shelby passed on the 10th I believe. He was a great contributor to the american racing heritage. I have read a few books on him and really liked his style. My youngest daughter shares his name as well. He was a go getter!
