hey, if your '06 TJ swaybar links are like on an XJ, try this mod:
http://www.rockcrawler.com/techrepor...ects/index.htm
That's what I always do for discos & they work GREAT!

mikeyours 09-17-2007 03:48 PM

thats not to bad acutally and that would work with mine...how has it held up wheeling

chris_dishmon 09-17-2007 09:12 PM

what's a sway bar? :D

mikeyours 09-17-2007 10:08 PM

haha do i really need my sways cause this is my daily driver this is why i was lookin at the quick disconnects. im new to this..

chris_dishmon 09-18-2007 09:59 AM

yeah when i go straight axle up front i might hafta fab a swaybar w/ disco's. hopefully a set of bilsteins will be just stiff enough.

You disconnect them (pull the pins & tie the ends up) when you get to your wheeling spot, then reconnect them when you drive on the road again. I've been using these disconnects on all my XJs w/o any problems for 3+ years now.

My only suggestion for you when using these is to buy another set ($8 more bucks) and throw it in the glovebox. I have occaisionally misplaced the set I removed while wheeling & been unable to locate them when I got done wheeling for the drive home.

mikeyours 09-18-2007 04:03 PM

im going to make them at my work i can do that stuff easy..also im working on my rear bumper with swing arm on it should take me a couple weeks to finish working on it, on the clock :D
