Southern Rock Racing Series finals in Arkansas
 

I traveled down with Todd Puckett and Jason Spegal who both competed for the first time in this series. They each ran both courses with no issues. Todd finished 4th out of 30 entries. Jason couldn't have been far behind but they only anounced the top 5. Then there was the bounty hill. With over $8000 in cash and prizes on the line it was quite a show. No one was able to conquer the hill. About 15 people tried. Todd was the second to last to go and the ruts were up to 5 feet deep in some spots. His attempt didn't go so well:eek:.

He is alright and the buggy actually faired pretty well. That Shotgun Fab chassis took it like a champ. Only one bar bent slightly. Otherwise lost a shock, swaybar arm, wheel hub and steering arm. Actually drove it 1/2 mile back to the pits. It was a crazy show and a great time. I hope to attend another race next year.
