Well , its main features allows for much faster load times and easy navigation of forum with all the bloat of a normal site removed. Additionally, i find it makes posting and editing much easier and gets rid the keyboard lag i often experienced when typing on heavily loaded sites.
As far as pictures... I think it depends on the forum . Well worth the 2 or 3 dollars for the app if u read supported boards
